Really cool endless runner with nice models and character animation! Loved the bin chickens as collectables!

This was great! Really solid endless runner with well-executed and seamless level design. and having Ibises as currency was quite amusing. The only design comment I would make is what if the distance travelled was also included in the score, or was a metric that would be on the end screen?

Overall though, really fun with some great art and UI!

Thanks for the feedback. I did originally have a timer added into the In-Game UI that informed the player how long they had been running for, however I had issues when getting that timer to appear on the Game Over screen in the highscore row. So I ended up scrapping it. Admittedly, I'd not thought about a distance travelled counter, which I also think could be a good inclusion in the future.

Quite fun! Some sounds and music would help it feel a bit more lively, but you did a nice job setting up the endless looping level.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, something with a beat and a little dystopian was the intention and is planned for future updates.

Good endless runner layout! That's the hardest part tbh, making it hard but not too hard, but you did it well! With some music, SFX, and (for me at least) a smoother camera / framerate, super solid game! Very impressed with the simple but effective set dressing and trashalanche! Good one!

Thanks for the feedback. All the above mentioned is intended for a future update to further polish the project off with some simple visual effects to add to the life of the environment.

Nice take on an endless runner. reminds me of Temple Run but instead of killer monkeys it is a literal trash avalanche. At first, I assumed the bin chickens were an obstacle and the blue containers were power-ups but halfway through my first run, I figured out the truth. Although, I am still confused about the blue containers. were they meant to help or hinder me?

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I did intend to have an information panel on the Main Menu about pickups or a Ibis icon next to the score to indicate that they were the collectables, however I had run out of time. In regards to the blue containers, they were supposed to benefit the player by teleporting them forward, however when I replaced by greybox pickup with the finished product the teleporting became a little unreliable. In the end they ended up being a risk and reward pickup that could help or hinder the player.

This game was fun I really enjoyed it. you may want to look into how you could optimise something like this bc it was making my 40 series card struggle. other than that it looks cool and I had a lot of fun picking up bin chickens and running from trash. ^-^

Thanks for the feedback. Optimizing it isn't a bad idea, as there are a lot of assets on screen at once that could make lower end devices struggle. I keep that in mind for future updates.
