thanks man!! really glad you finally got to check it out. about the graphics, Marcos is the wizard behind all the visual magic here, he spent a lot of time making the assets.

it means a lot coming from you, since your work on the assets for your game was also top notch. thanks for the support and hope you're feeling 100% now!!

thanks for the support!! really glad you liked the intro, Marcos put a lot of work into it to make sure that our games had the right vibe from the second you pressed play. it means a lot that you noticed the polish !!

i checked out your fairy game too, loved the art style !!

congrats on the entry and thanks again for playing!!

tried to install the game but it came with the Game Maker Studio installer? i didn't quite understand.

anyway, congratulations on your submit!

hey!! i just played this and honestly, it is one of my favorites from the jam so far. definitely top 3 material for me !!

the way you handled momentum and gravity feels incredibly fluid, it gave me some strong portal vibes but with a very unique twist. that last level took me a while to figure out, but the satisfaction of finally clearing it was huge!! i love how the minimalism makes the mechanics stand out even more.

if you ever decide to expand on this, it would be awesome to see some levels focused on building up massive momentum by looping through portals, or even some wraparound/horizontal screen connections to really mess with our heads haha.

absurdly good entry, congrats on the project man!!

mad respect for pulling this off while feeling that sick, man. you really killed it on the art!!

definitely looking forward to those extra levels if you guys decide to keep going with the project. take care of yourself and thanks again for the response !!

thanks for the feedback and for the kind words!!

we totally get you on the restarts. having to sit through the dialogues again can definitely break the flow, especially when the game is challenging. we'll look into adding a skip feature or making it faster for a post-jam update to keep the momentum going !!

too bad about the boss, he is a tough one (we have an worse one at the end! haha), but it means a lot that you found the experience interesting and beautiful regardless. thanks again for playing and for the honest critique!!

thanks for the support!! we really tried to make the duality feel natural within the gameplay, so it is great to hear that it worked for you. marcos will be happy to know you liked the art style too!!

it was a blast playing fih as well, the loop is super addicting. thanks again for checking our game out!!

that sounds amazing!! equippables would definitely add a lot of depth to the strategy, and a new ui will really make everything shine even more. i am definitely keeping an eye out for those updates post-jam. keep up the great work, you have a very solid concept in your hands!!

thanks for the kind words!!

we are really glad you liked the art and the music. marcos (art) and leoomori (music) put a lot of heart into the aesthetics to make the experience as immersive as possible. it means a lot coming from someone with such a cool and unique project like yours.

thanks for the support and congrats again for your game!!

thanks for playing and for the kind words!!

really glad you enjoyed the difficulty curve. we spent some time balancing the bullet upgrades so it wouldnt feel static, so it means a lot that you noticed the progression !! i think we still need to make it a little better though, maybe less xp per upgrade initially or something like that to keep the challenge up.

it was a blast playing your game too. congrats again on the entry and thanks for the support!!

thanks for the high marks and for the follow!! it means a lot coming from someone with your experience, especially with your background in shmups and music.

it is an honor to have our work compared to that era of shooters. we really tried to focus on that professional feel as a team, so having that recognized by a veteran is huge for us !!

also, thanks for the heads up about your project page. i will definitely head back there to check the full info and give the game another proper run now that i have the context. i will be sure to check your other works on itch too !!

cheers and congrats on your submission!!

thanks for playing and for the feedback!!

we really put a lot of effort into the sound design to make everything feel as satisfying as possible, so it means a lot that you noticed the sfx. our music man, leoomori, really transcended with the soundtrack for this one!!

marcos also did an amazing job with the visuals, we are glad the anime style resonated with you. i also played your game and had a great time with it!!

thanks again for playing and for the kind words!!

it was a very nice and satisfactory game to play! the vfx was on point, loved the controls and the game feel by itself.

congrats on your submission!

thanks for playing and for your comment!!

all credits to our artist Marcos, same with the studio logo - on development, when we seen the boss for the first time, the reaction was the same!! haha

thanks for your feedback!!

hey great game!! loved the take on duality, personnaly i love shooters, and i lost some time on this game.

congratts on yor submission!

sorry to hear that, hope he gets well soon! congrats to him, again the visuals are stunning. you both surely did an amazing job.

hey!! just played this and i really liked how the world shifting between light and dark forces you to master two completely different playstyles. the transition is very smooth and the art style is super clean !!

i played it until i maxed out all the upgrades and i noticed that the archer feels incredibly powerful once fully leveled up, while the giant form still felt a bit slower to progress. i also felt that the axe collision was slightly off sometimes, like it wasnt perfectly following the mouse position, and the minion spawn rate felt a bit inconsistent in some waves.

as a small suggestion for the flow, i think it would be even more addicting if the restart button sent us straight to the upgrade screen instead of the main menu — it would keep the momentum going !! adding some obstacles or objects in the arena could also add a nice layer of strategy to the movement.

overall the project is very polished and the music sets a great mood for the arena. great job on the entry and on delivering such a solid core loop!!

congrats on the submission!!

Great concept! Loved the cloud cute animation!

man this game is so stylish!! congrats on your entry!!

the project feels very polished, almost like a finished product. the variety of skills, the different enemies and the fast movement all add up to a great experience. the vampire theme was also on point!!

im not sure if it was just lack of skill on my part, but i felt the health was a bit low since i played it pretty badly and couldnt get a high score haha. but honestly, that just adds a nice replayability factor to it because i wanted to keep trying.

another thing i really liked was how you integrated the tutorial into the stage. the first time i played i accidentally skipped it by pressing space too fast, but then i realized there was something deeper there i was missing.

overall, congrats on the game, it looks amazing and you can clearly see the heart you put into it!!

congrats on the submission!!

very well polished game! fantastic styling, gameplay and everything. personally i got some trouble with the spike collisions, bot uverral the game was fantastic! congratulations!

hey! quite didnt get how to play yout game, but congrats!

do you plan to update it post jam? i would love to play it again with more enemies! sure more people would love it too!!!

hey!! i just spent way more time playing this than i planned to, the loop is incredibly addicting. the hand drawn art style is super charming and it gives the whole experience a very unique and chill vibe !!

the sound design is also very satisfying, although i have to agree with some of the others that i almost jumped when the fish exploded the first time !! i spent most of my time focusing on the upgrades on the right and felt like the bombs could use a bit more punch to be worth it, but that didnt stop me from wanting to unlock every single fish.

even if the theme and duality were a bit of a stretch, the game is polished and very fun to play. great job on the art and on the delivery!!

congrats on the entry!!

hey!! just played this and i really liked the tactical approach to a boxing match. it feels like a high-stakes game of rock-paper-scissors where reading the opponent is everything. the skeleton art is very cool and gives the game a unique personality!!

it took me a moment to wrap my head around the mechanics since the tutorial wasnt working, but once i understood the risk of losing the charge when getting hit, the game became much more tense and interesting. i really liked the "big damage" payoff when a strategy actually works out !!

the sound feedback helps a lot during the fight too. for a jam project, the core concept is very solid and it’s a very creative way to interpret the theme and duality. great job on the entry and on the hand-drawn style!!

congrats on the submission!!

hey!! just played this and i am honestly mind-blown by how well the mechanics work together. the character controlling is such a brilliant and deep interpretation of the duality requirement!!

the double jump impulse feels incredibly satisfying and the level design does a great job of introducing the concept through the menu and the first stages. the visual and audio feedback are super clean and it really makes the experience feel premium.

everything feels very intentional and well polished, definitely one of the most clever entries i have played so far. great job to the whole team!!

that was the best game of the whole jam, i'm pretty sure!!

if there's one thing I'd like in a future update, it would simply be more levels! nothing else.

congrats on the submission!!

hey!! just played this and i have to say the art style is super adorable. the vibes are very wholesome and the music fits perfectly with the atmosphere you created for the little fairy !!

i saw in the description that this is your first solo project and honestly congrats on the milestone. finishing and submitting a game alone is a huge feat and you can clearly see the heart put into it, specially with how the character and the background look together.

the gameplay is very intuitive and easy to pick up. i agree with some of the other comments about adding more sfx for feedback in the future, but for a first finished project the core is very sweet and relaxing to play.

great job on the delivery and on learning so much during the jam!!

congrats on the submission!!

hey!! just played this and i am honestly blown away by the concept. controlling the miner and the backpack separately is such a clever take on the duality requirement, and seeing the backpack actually get bigger as it fills up is a great way to tie in the theme !!

i played it solo and even then the puzzles with the levers and the different types of stones felt very rewarding to solve. the sound feedback is top notch and it really adds to the polish of the game. you can clearly tell how much care went into the presentation, from the level selector to the way the mechanics are introduced.

the pixel art and the core loop are super charming. it is a very solid entry, everything feels very cohesive and well thought out. great job to the whole team!!

congrats on the submission!!

hey!! just played this and i really liked the quirky art style, it gives the game a lot of personality. the mechanic of switching between the two pigeons to keep them both climbing is a very cool way to handle the duality prerequisite, it definitely kept me multitasking the whole time!!

i noticed that the collision on the breakable platforms is a bit tricky since they trigger from any contact, which made some jumps feel a bit punishing. i also struggled a bit with the different jump heights between the two, but once i got the rhythm of the switch it became a fun challenge to try and beat the time.

the sound effects and music fit the vibe perfectly !! for a project made from scratch, the core loop is very solid and with a bit more polish on the platform physics this would be super addicting.

great job on getting the entry in!! congrats on the submission!!

hey!! just played this and the swap mechanic between the warrior and the mage feels very fluid. i really liked how the duality was baked into the gameplay loop — having to go melee to build up mana for the mage makes the decision to switch feel very intentional and rewarding!!

that god mode moment when you reach full power is super satisfying, it gives that exact "big" power trip feeling that the horde mode needs. i noticed the developer mentioned the ui in other comments and i agree that a bit more juice there would make the scores pop even more, but for a 48h project the core loop is already very addicting.

the way the difficulty scales kept me on my toes the whole time. great job on the execution and on balancing the two forms!!

congrats on the entry!!

hey!! i just played your game and i really liked the idea of controlling the swarm. at first i was a bit confused about the flow and how to grow the colony, but once the loop clicked it felt very satisfying to see the group getting bigger!!

the combat against different types of enemies gives a nice dynamic to the gameplay, but i have to admit i struggled a lot with the boss. i missed having some sound effects to give that extra feedback on collisions and attacks, i think it would help a lot with the immersion of the laboratory vibe you created.

overall the project is very ambitious and you delivered a solid scope with different enemies and all. great job on the effort and the delivery!!

congrats on the submission!!

thanks for playing and for the kind words!!

really glad you enjoyed the art style — we put a lot of work into the materials to get that specific fabric and plastic feel right, so it means a lot that you liked it. also happy to hear the level design and the theme interpretation worked for you!!

congrats on the submission!!

thanks for playing and for the kind words!! glad you liked the walking animation and the art style. we really spent some time on that fabric texture for the sky so it means a lot that you noticed it and liked the vibe. we planned for more elements to have that feeling but we didn't have time to make it haha

already played your entry and as i said on the review, it is easily one of my favorite projects in this jam, extremely charming and polished.

congrats on such a successful project and on the submission!!

thanks for playing and for the feedback!! glad you enjoyed the level design as we spent a good chunk of the jam trying to make the puzzles feel right. it still needs some polishment, we'll work on this on postjam.

regarding your entry, i really wanted to try it out but unfortunately i couldnt get it to run on my linux machine. it looks super cool and for a first project the concept of cooperative bridge building sounds very solid.

congrats on your first completed game and on the submission!!

i really loved the reverse-frogger vibe. it is such an out of the box concept and honestly super intuitive to pick up right away.

i spent some good time testing the different difficulties — hard is already quite a challenge! really fun and well-executed entry. congrats!!

hey! i just played this and i really liked how unique the concept is. the idea of mixing a space shooter with building bridges between waves is definitely an ambitious and creative take on the theme. the weapon heat management adds some nice strategy and the sound design feels very clean and fits the arcade vibe perfectly. the customization is also on point!

it was a bit harder for me to fully get into the loop because of how fast everything happens and how the bridge building felt more like a progression mechanic rather than the core focus, but the polish you got into it in just 5 days is very impressive. you can definitely tell you have a lot of experience making games and it shows in the details.

congrats on the entry and for putting it all together!!

hey!! just played this and i am honestly blown away by the creativity. using the actual physical keyboard layout to build the bridges is one of the coolest and most unique ideas i have seen in this jam.

the sound design is also top notch — that car starting and accelerating sound is so satisfying to hear. i spent a good while stuck on the levels with the bouncepads and the direction inverters because they really force you to think about the angles and reuse your bridges, but the loop is super addicting.

it is such a fun and polished concept, great job on the execution!!

~ congrats on the entry!
