Hello,

I'm a hobbyist game programmer who's been looking for a slower type of game jam and this month-long metroidvania jam stood out to me. I'm a big fan of Hollow Knight, Haiku the Robot, Crowsworn, etc., so it'd be cool to be able to help develop one myself! I'm employed full-time, so the month long format is a decent timeline that'll give me leeway to work on the project outside of my job.

Should any programmers be interested, we would be using Godot 4.2.1 and GDScript to develop the game. I have a sort of template already mocked up on my GitHub.

Shoot me a message here on Itch or message me on Discord if you're interested in joining my team. Look forward to meeting you guys!

Hello, I am a hobbyist game developer with experience in Unity and some experience in Godot (primarily 4.x) looking to contribute to someone's game. I have a full-time job, so I will only be able to work during evenings and weekends, and I am not expecting much or even any compensation. My portfolio primarily consists of mods for an existing Unity game, but I have posted the source to a game I helped with for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam on GitHub, as well as a few game templates for personal Unity and Godot projects.

I look forward to meeting and working with whoever chooses to have me join their team!

Cute visuals and entertaining gameplay loop, nice work!

The squash and stretch really add to the bouncy Mario aesthetic. Nice work!

Certainly an interesting concept; controls were a tad confusing at first but I eventually got the hang of it to an extent.

It's an astonishing feat that you managed to handle all the different permutations of returning your artifacts without causing softlocks anywhere! Only nitpick I have is that the controls are a tad slippery.

Really cool art style, I think the Restart Level and Exit Game buttons are broken in the pause menu? Nevertheless, I've seen a few flash games that have this concept, but it's nice to see a new game revisit the idea after all these years.

The art and music assets are nicely consistent, and there's a nice juiciness to the effects. Well done!

Pretty easy to win by camping Pac-man's spawn point, but an entertaining concept nevertheless!

Ingenious concept! Now I'm curious as to how you implemented that IDE screen...

Wow, what an amazing concept! I really liked how the penalty for dying is gaining more health so that the game becomes both easier at the beginning and harder at the end. Graphics were also superb, nice job!

Gives me big Interstellar vibes, especially with the music. I'm surprised you even managed to incorporate touch controls.

Pretty well polished for a 48 hour game. The card names are unique and amusing.

I'm amazed to see so many dialogue options! Though, I didn't have the energy to see how many of them actually branched out. Regardless, I like the concept of becoming the chat bot, even if the interactions remain basically the same.

I like the concept! Not sure what turning into a wolf does when you get caught by an enemy though...

I felt so many emotions at once throughout my playthrough.

Can't wait for the sequel with the OceanGate sub.

Took me a little bit to figure out all the controls, but when I did I found it enjoyable to smush those frogs.
