Oh nooooooo! I was so looking forward to playing this since narrative stuff is my jam, but when I hit play it pops up with a fatal error on the page saying "No valid storage adapters were found".
Ah, that's apparently due to stuff like disabling cookies, adblockers & the like. It's probably past voting time now, though, hah.
heard about Twine games a lot but never played any cuz I'm not that into text games but I got into this one it was good and soothing it provides a totally different mood than other games and surely I will play more Twine games maybe even make one thank you for getting me into this and you have good vocabulary god damn I gotta read more English poetry
Very good art composition and amazing concept too, I enjoyed this game! :D
i really enjoyed playing through this game and seeing the different endings, amazing game and great writing!
Cool game! I'm not usually a fan of text games, but this one drew me in. The music reminded me a bit of Lavender Town which kept me on edge, and the dialogue options were really interesting.
Thank you! I'm glad you were able to experience it! Your game was great, too!
Thank you!
Well executed! The concept is very interesting and unique. Though the art isn't self-made, it was still put together nicely! I loved the aesthetics!
Actually, I made all the art, just not within the 48 hours of the jam. It's old stuff of mine. Should have specified.
That's even better then! Love the art!
But, that aside: thank you for playing! Glad you liked it!
i like the design of this. pretty coool!
impressive and deep branches on this one!
Also, loved the idea of playing from the AI perspective, really made me embrace the "listening" aspect of the narrative. And I really begin to care for Alis.
Good work!
Thank you! I definitely put some real effort into writing Alis. I wanted them to feel human, flaws & all.
I'm amazed to see so many dialogue options! Though, I didn't have the energy to see how many of them actually branched out. Regardless, I like the concept of becoming the chat bot, even if the interactions remain basically the same.
Thank you for playing. It felt like a shocking amount of writing during the crunch, with lots of lines on the cutting room floor, but I'm glad to see folks connect with it!
<3
yooooo i love this game! the dialogue was fun to read, and the music really suits the atmosphere :)
Really nice! Love the concept a lot, so unique. I also liked the fact that chatbots & AIs is a current topic so making a game about it right now is perfect timing.
thoughts in no general order:
Thank you! Yeah, I actually fussed for a while to get the music right, even though I was building off of an old demo track of mine. And, yes... scat.
That was a beautiful narrative experience!! I still think a mook can have a *posh* name though. Really great dialogue!! Good job!!
Wow this submission is downright eerie, and I like it. Great job!
More human and heartfelt than many similar games. Nice work
Thank you so much! I really enjoyed your game too! Excellent writing on it!
This is hauntingly beautiful. A game where humans play as AI, talking to a not-quite human. Melancholy, emotional, poignant, this game will capture your heart.
WHOAH! What a unique take on the theme and the aesthetics of the game are UNMATCHED! Super well done~
I don't really know what to say but that was genuinely amazing. Could stick with me for a while. I didn't want to restart and try another path, my reality is my reality.
Wow, thank you! It means a lot to me to hear the story really connected with you!
The audio and the story just hit the feels for some reason, but I wish there was an option to change the text speed and the audio volume. Nonetheless, this is amazing.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, if I iterate on the game after the voting ends I'll be making sure to add in some quality-of-life features like that.
