Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for the feedback! Will definitely take this into account when we build out the game. We have many more mechanics planned!

How To Play:

  • Stack your dice during other players' turns. Be careful - if your tower falls you have to start over!
  • Click on a die to pick it up; use WASD, Q, and E to rotate.
  • When it gets to your turn, roll your top die and multiply it by your stack height to get your damage score.
  • If you stacked a D4 on top of your pile, you deal double damage.
  • If your stack has 0 height, roll a D4 as a consolation prize.

Runs best on desktop - may encounter issues in browser!

I enjoyed this quite a bit! I don't really see the connection with the theme though - a tutorial or instructions would be helpful.

Very creative! I like the art style and the voiceover. It was a bit too difficult for me, and it started from the beginning of the cutscene every time I failed. Would appreciate a faster restart in a future version!

I like the idea! It might be worth making it so both characters can't be the same class - I got "healer" for both and wasn't able to deal any damage :(

really enjoyed this! would love to see it fleshed out more after the jam!

thank you!

Thank you!

Hi, thanks for playing!
We unfortunately ran out of time and weren't able to include everything we wanted. One of the things that we would have liked to include were clearer in-game instructions and possibly a tutorial. The idea is that you stack during other players' turns, and then when it gets to your turn your tower is "locked in" and your score is calculated from the height multiplied by your roll, before resetting your tower. We hope to work on the game more and make it a bit less confusing. Thanks for the feedback!

thank you! glad you enjoyed it!

Got it to run on my Mac! Will rate and review when I've had a chance to play it

Hmm, my computer is from 2017 and seems to have up-to-date drivers. I'll try it on another computer and let you know.

Thank you! Great video! I think there were some bugs with the health bar - hopefully it didn't affect your experience!

This is so beautiful. I didn't expect to care about these characters so much - they all feel like real people. You conveyed so much with simple sprites and animations. Poor Guy :( He just wanted to help.

My only critique is that the text could have been larger and taken up more of the screen to be easier to read. Also, great use of the optional themes!

Good use of the theme! I think there might be some textures missing? Everything is showing up as blank squares. I like the idea of keeping both the ship and the crew healthy - reminds me a bit of the Reigns series!

Interesting use of RPG Maker to create a visual novel. I like the unconventional relationship between Marlene and Hershel, and it left me wondering who Analise was. My only critique is that it didn't use the theme very much - the ocean only showed up in the beginning and wasn't really tied into the rest of the story. Excellent for your first full game! Looking forward to more!

This was really lovely and bittersweet! The music and sounds fit really well, and I felt a bit sad no matter which ending I picked.

Hey! I'd really like to play this but it's just giving me a black screen with sounds - am I missing some controls? (Windows)

"Remorse" is a horror-lite underwater narrative about decisions made under duress. If you enjoyed "You Must Continue" this game has a similar vibe.

I used YarnSpinner to build a text-based decision tree and added 3D interactive scenes with Unity. Because a lot of the story is narrated rather than shown, I spend quite a bit of time on the sound design - so play with your volume on!

Hope you enjoy! If you do, please consider supporting me by buying the game - it helps fund future games!

thanks so much!

thank you!

Was the piano player supposed to give me something after I gave them the sheet music? I don't think I got anything.

Really cool concept and I love the Obra Dinn-esque art style!

beautiful property, great neighbourhood. bit of a fixer-upper but i'm sure my husband can handle it. thanks so much [REALTOR NAME]!

spooky!

Thanks, I'll look into it.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm new to using the WebGL platform, but I will try to figure out how to fix this.
