I think its a really interesting concept that the dice you apply to your systems are "rolled with advantage", and since the sizes of the dice are different I feel like the strategy involved is there.

Thank you for trying it out our game!

That is what we were hoping to achieve, have the player move the dice around based on their next destination, hoping to get a decent roll for the event on that planet.

A much more robust version should be live on the 25th of July, complete with a scoring system, allowing the player to keep jumping to more difficult systems. The info on each planet before travelling to it should also be a bit more precise to give the player a better idea of what to expect in terms of module checks.

Take care and hope to see you again soon!

I enjoyed this quite a bit! I don't really see the connection with the theme though - a tutorial or instructions would be helpful.

We greatly appreciate the feedback!

Once voting is over for the gameJam, we will upload an updated version that will also include the instructions in the game itself (as right now they are just on the game's page, and not very clear either).

The update should be live on the 25th of July, if you are curious to try a more complete experience.

Great concept that harkens back to the old Star Trek games of yore!

I played it twice, and could not get very far. It's very easy to take a path where there is nothing else in range, and you won't know until you get there. And since you cannot go back, it's a soft lock condition. Burning luck I think would be a good mechanic to get out of there.

I also don't know what the dice in the top left corner were for. They seemed static, but I somehow got some dice in the box below it. I couldn't click on it, so I wasn't sure what it was for.

We are delighted to know you enjoyed the concept! We have worked a lot past the deadline to get the game in a much better shape, now being able to save your current stats and track your high score, while also having a more optimised planet generation  system to drastically decrease the chance of softlocking your game.

As soon as voting on the gameJam this was submitted to is done we will release the updated version, which should also have the instructions within the game, hopefully as explicit as possible. Right now the only instructions are on the game's page which is a bit sad, but basically you are meant to choose which dice to put in which module to increase it's "performance".

I personally suggest checking back in on the 25th, and the updated version should be available!

Thank you once again for trying out our game!

I've got you followed for sure! When it updates I'll definitely be giving it another shot!
