Well, thank you, and I hope to see everyone again in future jams.

Thank you all for such fantastic feedback and support on my submission. If you haven't had the chance to play it, Rate "Escape from the Abyss" by Fink for 💀 SCREAM JAM 2023 💀 - itch.io

Again, such a fantastic time was had, and I look forward to Jamming with everyone on the next one.

Thank you for playing.

Nope I am blind :D

Luckily, I was wearing my brown pants today. I was good until I heard the clock chime, which made me jump out of my skin. The audio was fantastic in the game. The movement was extremely smooth, and the anxiety of attempting to replenish the batteries for the flashlight was excellent. The team did a great job kudos.

Thank you for playing and the feedback. I do like the thought of switching weapons with the numbers instead of the Z and X key and will be exploring that option in the future. Thank you again for playing and all the feedback.

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback. The sprite suggestion is a good point. I could find or make them just a bit crisper or scale down the environment just a tad to make them more unison in look—also, good point on the audio. For horror's sake, it could be just a bit more ominous. As for the project's longevity, I will be exploring all the valuable feedback and continuing support of this project after the Jam. Again, thank you for the feedback and playing.

Hey designers! I am just looking for feedback on my game. I want to push this concept past the Jam and into further development. As much as I would love for you to rate the game, I don't expect you to, feedback is what I am after. Ways to improve and other elements that would make the playable experience better. It has been an honor to play all of the titles form this jam and hope to see yall out there in the wild again.

Here is the trailer for the game and the link as well.

From the initial launch screen to the menu, when paused, it was immaculate. I thought the movement was highly smooth and, like the description said, a pretty straightforward end goal. It was an enjoyable experience, and you did a great job. This is a prime example of gameplay that doesn't have to have a "AAA" look as long as it has a professional feel. There was an instance where I was trying to obtain a relic in a tight area on entry. The character got somewhat stuck on the walls, but that is it. The time given in the Jam to the product you released was excellent.

Thank you for playing. Yeah, I thought I would be smart and line up the shots according to the front iron sights of the weapons. But yeah... I am continuing on working on this project for future iterations and value the feedback. Also, great call on assigning the numbers to weapons I will think about that for the future. Again, thank you so much for playing and all the awesome feedback.

I love Unreal Engine, and it is nice to run into more graphics-heavy projects. I would like to have seen just a bit more in the gameplay. No matter where I went, I pulled the agro of the enemies. But I did enjoy the concept.

I enjoyed the art style of the project. I did run into a similar problem with the character's collision, but it was a minor issue. I do kind of wish there was some splash screen with the controls on it. But with the audio and play, it was a very entertaining experience.

I enjoyed what I could play. I know that when I got the torso and went to the right side of the bed, I accidentally pressed the space bar, and the game crashed. I recreated the incident again. Other than that, I enjoyed the story of the project.

I love round-based games like this. The movement was extremely smooth, and I love how the mini-map not only showed the enemy's position but also the split pumpkins on it as well. Very interested in seeing how far you are going to go with this project. Great job.

I had a very enjoyable playthrough. I would also like to say I would have hoped you didn't get me with a jump scare, but you did bravo. I did have an issue with having the E to interact on my screen almost the whole time. I also loved the notes. It is a tremendous little prototype, and the ending was great. Good job.

I really enjoyed this game concept, it is also nice to have the impact notifications as well as when there is damage. The movement was extremely smooth and the only issue I had was that the main menu options were too small. But I am blind, good job thus far.

I enjoyed robbing that store blind! At first, I thought the counter on the list wasnt moving, but it was. I thought it is an interesting concept for the game, I know with the right narrative with type of game would be fantastic. Good job.

I got so close to collecting all of them, but I got eaten before I could. I thought the death scene was fantastic and the audio was great. I am not sure, but the exit game button didn't work for me when I died and went back to the main menu. All in all, I enjoyed myself. Great job.

I thought this was a fantastic take and twist on Pokemon. I enjoyed the play-through. I got killed a lot in the beginning, but I started to collect items and put up more of a decent fight. Great Work.

Thank you for playing, also thank you for the feedback. I really enjoyed the process of doing my first shooter and all this feedback I have been getting is super helpful.

Thanks for playing. I am not sure, why, but I wanted to do a 2.5 D Doom-style game. It was my first shooter style.

This was an enjoyable play-through. It did throw me off getting caught when I went to turn the power back on, and the game closed, but still, great job!

Play other's games and rate theirs, and hope they do the same. There is a mass amount of projects submitted, so projects tend to get lost in the mix. It is always just best to stay proactive.

I enjoyed the flashlight mechanic of this project. The mouse sensitivity was a bit too extreme for me, but manageable. Also, the enemy screams kept glitching out a bit, so I had to turn my volume off. Aside from that, I thought it was a unique experience. Great job.

I was finishing the last genny and had my souls snatched. Note to self, do not drink coffee as I run through the maze.

It was different but funny, all wrapped into one creepy package.

This was a breath of fresh air. This was exceptionally well done, and it looks like it took considerable thought and attention to dial in. Great job, was a fantastic experience.

I really enjoyed the sound design for this project. I also really liked the tools you employed for the PFI. I thought it was unique from what I have seen thus far.

I cycled through the game until I was pulled from cryo the third time, and then the game crashed. It worked until the third pull, but I enjoyed what there was, just a tad repetitive. Good job though, the audio was really good.

I am impressed with all of this! The art, dialog, gameplay, and sounds were top-notch. I would like to see an expanded version of this in the future. Great job all around.

After the first few prompts, I was invested in seeing what was next. Sad that in the end, there was nothing.

So, I must say. I usually am pretty good at not jumping in some situations, and I must say you got me! Bravo, bravo!

I wasn't sure where you were going with the "Short murderous photo experience." But that twist made me smile; I would have loved to play more of this to see what the culmination would lead to.

This was a fantastic experience working with yall on this.
