It took me a little to understand what I had to do but when i got it, it was fun^^
I don't know what Old Grumpy is or what he is attacking with (his mustache? his breath?) but I like him. Loved his expression before the boss fight.
The description states that this game was a demo for procedural generated dungeons on GBStudio. i don't know on what extent that worked, but I recognised that the rooms didn't always had the same enemies. Luckily for me the room has the key after it had it for the first time. I saw it too late on the first time^^"
Interesting game, I like it.

Interesting concept for a Gameboy game. The given pictures are really cute and I like the music^^

Interesting game. I like the concept, but some kind of tutorial or an explanation of the battle system would be useful. I was very confused while playing^^" A visual indicator when your move is out of range would be helpful too. AdvAnce Wars for example uses different colors, which is obviously not an option here, but something like a cross when the cursor is out of range would help.
I really like the atmosphere that you created. I hope that you'll work on this game after the jam, because I would like to see more of it^^

I really like the atmosphere the game with its music and the dark graphics that only light up by your light (or some monster fish). That's really great.
I like your game^^

I myself have never played Go nor do I know the rules, but I can see the potential in this prototype^^

Long penguin
Good game with an interesting concept. The graphics are cute and cute penguins are always good. I also like the music. Really good game^^

It does what it says. I really like the design. It's simple, but effective and easy to use. Well done!

Thank you for letting me know. I looked it up and found the error. For the coin I accidently decremented the money value one digit more than I incremented it before. I guess that's what's happening when I work on the drop function after midnight.
I updated the game and replaced the old one with the new one. The hand also shouldn't appear anymore.
Thanks again for your help!

Awesome idea, great implementation! I also really like the soundtrack!
Personally I would have choosen a different color than red. Something that is a little softer to the eye. But otherwise, really good game!

Thank you very much! It would be nice if more people played it, but I'm happy that you came arround and liked it^^
The other room is not implemented in the game, but in my lore it's the kitchen of the house. It can't be accessed because Herman placed way too many boxes with stamps in it. The tower of boxes collapsed one day and blocks the kitchen door now.
Herman is calling the pizza delivery daily since that day.

Vielen Dank^^
The story is close to my heart, so I'm really happy that I could touch the heart of yours as a player with it.
About the music: To be honest, I had to come up with the game in the middle of the jam, because I initally wanted to make a puzzle game, which GB Studio sadly couldn't handle. I rushed through the development of this game because of that, but I personally can't compose music and I thought it would be a little too late to ask a musician for help. That's why I didn't included music.

Nice game. I really love the pixel art and it's movement! The soundtrack is cool as well!
The controls were a little fiddly for me, but that is mostly a result from my german QWERTZ keyboard.
All in all, a great game!

Nice version of Sokoban! The movement seemed a little minimalistic to me at the beginning, but it works well with the gameplay. I also like the music!

Really nice game! It's always interesting to see how people use GBStudio's limitations in ways that exceed the initial idea of the engine(?), just like the part with the stairways with its side view. I wished that it would be a little longer, but I guess the short play time came because of the time restriction of this Jam (at least that's the reason why my game is short). Well done!

Very interesting concept and a well made execution! Reminds me a little of the double cherry in Super Mario 3D World^^
One idea for improvment: At first I thought the dark mouse has to be caught by the guy with the dark shirt and the light mouse has to be caught by the guy with the light shirt. I think a more intuitive design to assign a guy to a mouse would help here.
