Hello !

Thanks for the post. I changed all my configuration since i last worked on this game and i won't have time to export it to linux. It shouldn't be hard to do with the gradle script.

It has been updated.

My girlfriend and I couldn't find each other. Hard to rate the game in that regard.

Wow, really impressed by this one. The theme is really well applied, the controls are neat and tidy, the visuals really cute. I'm only missing a bit of tune, but the time constraint is especially challenging for that.

Really good designs on the levels, with a second one, kind of hard.

Couldn't beat stage 2, but the execution is very neat for the 3h dev time. The controls were not easy to use, all on keyboard would have been nicer for me.

Thanks for playing it and for the feedback ! We'll try to do better in the next jam.

First of all thanks for the comments ! I write them down for the post-jam version.
In reality my main source of inspiration was Out There as i didn't play to FTL.

I love the tutorial and the idea of this small robot ! The sounds are funny :) Altough the controls are not easy to master and i had some bugs.

Nice game with a pretty good use of the the physic and the lights. The cosmonaut is not easy to control but the level are not hard and well designed.

The devlog is really complete ! Sure i'll be using it when starting with box2dlight !

The jar was inside the zip and i forgot to mark it for Mac and Linux... I updated the files so it's more clear now. The jar is for all and the zip contain the jar plus an exe file.

Untethered is beautiful ! I love the idea of the helemet UI and it's really well rendered with nice animations. The deformation effect of the screen is also quitte nice. And finally the music is beautiful and fit perfectly. The best game i've seen so far !

Beautiful graphics with a really nice UI, it's an impressive work !

I found the music was not really appropriate. It has a low tempo which give the impression that the ship is really slow and kind of annoying. Despite that your work with planets is amazing ! They look all so different and it's nice to fly over to discover how they look like.

The game is pretty fun with nice looking levels (they are so big !).

So i added some buttons a status bar for concerned rooms and a text panel to display event messages.

Hey so i just start to create the rooms and i've that for now :

Basically, SIM8 see the ship through cameras' eyes. There is one per room. In each of these room you'll have the possibilities to execute somes actions. For example, in the PilotRoom you can boost the engines, initiate landing or take off, etc.

When taking damages, some rooms might became unusable and must be repaired. Others will just induce some loss like the storeroom.

From the coding side, their is an abstract class, Room, extending scene2d.ui.Table. Then all the rooms inherit from this first class or from RepairableRoom which is also abstract and manage the room status when damages are inflicted.

I didn't wrote all my code today as i have a base i often use. The menu was partly done already but i'll come back to all that stuff an other day if i find the time.

I'm a french somputer science student at the end of my studies (if you have an internship opportunities feel free to contact me ;) ).

Even if i wasn't able to start in december, i hope i'll have the time to produce a decent game. Anyway, i'll be creating SIM8, a game were you play as a spaceship ai.

In a long raging war against Heredians, six humans illustrate themselves and are heading home with good knowledge of the enemy. To save insufficient resources, they are now cryogenised and your role is to ensure they arrive safe and sound at destination. You'll have to take care of the ship, control reactors, weapons, make decisions, etc.

Hello !

I'm a french computer science student. I've been unable to enter the jam earlier but i already though about a game idea. More in the SIM8's topic.

Good day and good continuation all !
