You can place the credit wherever it works for you, other game devs usually put everything in the credit screen. Hope that helps

Hello! A credit to the author is just fine, the terms of the license mention providing a link to the CC license itself, but that can also be provided in the description of your game (eg. game page on itch.io), not necessarily inside of it. Hope that helps!

Absolutely :)

No worries, it's your game. Thanks anyway for checking out my music, cheers :)

Yes, that's correct. Also, putting my name in the credit screen won't prevent you to use this music for commercial purposes. P.S.: I'm an award-winning composer who has scored for Vampire Survivors - having my name in your game could be useful, if anything :)

Hey jammers!

sorry for the spam, but I might have just the right music for this Retro Jam on my music licensing website PlayOnLoop.com

Of course, each music loop comes with a short edit that can be used for free under CC Attribution license (just browse the website and look for the button "Free Short Version"), thus perfect for quick games for jams and prototypes.

Yes, something like Music by or Song Name by (if you just use one) Filippo Vicarelli under CC-BY 4.0 will be just fine :)

Hey, yes CC stands for Creative Commons!

You can indicate the source of the music / sounds on the Credits screen of your game, or on the game description page will also work! As a general rule, credits should be placed such that a person who wants to know where the music came from should have no difficulty in finding it :)

To the Infinity and beyond!! :D

Hardly managed to contain the spread till level 7... but hey this game was super fun to play :D

Haha sorry guys, didn't want to spam or anything :P No matter how polite I try to be, there's actually no other ways to self promote without looking like a spammer... but I usually got positive feedbacks (and actual sales) with these posts, so I thought this could be not only promotion but also something kinda helpful for some :)

@lazerfalcon For paid works I usually try to provide everything that the developer might need, from individual audio stems / layers to audio that match the timing of a specific event or animation. I never had the chance to work with middleware, since my clients always took care of implementation to save on budget, or had custom audio engines, which only required me to edit a bunch of parameters in some json file. Would not exclude to do that if needed though.

Thanks for checking my stuff!

Looks promising! Love the aesthetics... keep up the great work!

Thanks for replying, MobileBrain. I hope someone will help us soon since I wish to initate a payout and receive my revenue as soon as possible.

Still haven't received a reply to my ticket (#36216), I hope some admin can see this topic.

Hi there,

due to the laws in my country, I need to issue an invoice for every payment I receive, including those from Itch.io. Just as many others in the forum, I need the company details for creating the invoice, such as Itch.io official name, address, etc. and an e-mail address where I can send my invoice.

I opened a ticket (#36216) one week ago, but got no reply. Also, I think publishing those details somewhere in the website or in our Dashboard, would be helpful for everyone.

Any help is appreciated.

P.S.: I used the Search function, but any reply to the threads I have found has been sent privately.

Hello guys, also check out PlayOnLoop, there are hundreds of 8-bit and 16-bit chiptunes on the Retro Game music category. Each track on catalog comes with a free downloadable edit. Cheers :-)
