I’m pretty sure it’s every time you want to publish the app because that’s the standard review process. I did try to make a second app listing and it still wanted me to get through to the closed testing phase. What they probably mean by that is the cutoff is something like November 2024 (Might be a different date) where all new apps beyond that have to go through that testing phase.

Thank you, that was helpful. The reason I prefer to work alone is you get 100% control over your game.

Oh,I see. Wow, this is so easy and especially like I don’t have to create another account. Thank you!

Thank you!

Hello, I first started learning game development three months ago, I’m just starting to finish my first game. I was wondering if joining a team or going individually is better to learn? I can see the benefit of working with other people, but I could also see how that may harm you.

I would prefer to work as a solo developer, but I want to do what’s best for my learning.

I just started game development three months ago, but it’s a hobby for me. I first wanted to learn how to build websites, then taught myself how to build a mobile app. Now here I am learning game development. I do it because I enjoy coding.

The closed testing? No, it’s required for all apps. If you have enough testers, it’s fine. I just found it annoying because I had to get hold of contacts my family had in order to get all the people I needed.

Wait, how do I publish a game?

I’m pretty new to itch.io and would like some feedback on the page. Mostly, I want to optimize my profile description.

Hello, I’ve been working on a clicker game for the past three months for my Advanced Computer Projects class.

I’m pretty new to game development, so I can really only do 2D right now. With about a month of the semester left, I need to start developing a new game starting February. Does anyone have any 2D game ideas that are not overwhelmingly large?

I’m not sure where to post this, so if the post is in the incorrect category, please move it rather than delete it.

Hi, I published my first app in March, so I already went through the closed testing phase. It was so complicated for me because I don’t know 12 Android users. Took me three attempts to make it through testing.

But I would say that you do need feedback, because after the 14 days they will make you try another 14 days if you don’t get enough engagement or feedback. I wish you luck.

Hi, I would be happy to.

I’m Explorer Official, I have taught myself web and app development, I’m now getting into making games the last 3 months.

Thank you

Cool game, is there a way to get the dog to retrieve the stick passed the spikes?

That answers my question, the UI is too big and my computer screen is too small. You could shrink the trophy to fit smaller screens.

Yeah, I had to read the description to find out. I don’t always read the full description when I play games, just enough to get a general idea what it’s about.

Fun, I’m also getting ready to publish my first game I’ve spent three months on. I do think the UI could be improved, at least make the upgrade window bigger. I would also find it more engaging if I could control the car.

I don’t know if my screen is too small for the UI, I’m on a Chromebook right now and they suck. But when the first round is over, I have no way to continue or go back to the garage, the only way I can get out is to refresh the page.

Overall, I would say this is a good concept and you should definitely think about improving it and add more content. It’s still a better game than what I’ve been working on, so good job.

I see that you’re using Unity, so I have a question. What did you use for AI path finding. I kind of need it for future games.

I love this! I’ll give it 5 stars too.

This is cool, I use Unity unfortunately. If I want to crash my computer, I will remember to go back here and place down as many pixels as possible.

You should make a longer version
