Hey thanks a lot for checking out our game !

Really glad you enjoyed your gameplay despite the lack of intuitiveness due to key mapping! Will for sure change that later because, even for us that developed the game, it still feels weird somehow !

Anyway, thanks again for the nice review and for checking this out !

Thanks a lot for the lovely comment, it means a lot !

I think that the issue with the gameplay for now is really related to key mapping, we could find a correct mapping for the gameplay which is why it feels so unintuitive at first ! Will definitely change that in a later update.

Thanks for the review and for checking out our game ! And congratulation for your submission too.

Thanks a lot for the feedback !

The funny thing is that we found out that the key mapping was not intuitive some times before submitting and tried several other key bindings but we really could find the correct mapping for our gameplay. Hopefully this will work better with a gamepad mapping but I would really appreciate if you have any idea about how to improve this for the keyboard / mouse one !

That being said, thanks again for trying out our game and congratulation for your game entry too !

Thanks a lot for trying our game, we're glad you enjoyed it !

Congrats on for your game too.

Thanks a lot for checking out the game and for your review as well !

Yes we also saw the font issue haha.
We realised it just before the release and since we made the font ourselves there are some characters that are missing too and we didn't had enough time to fix it.

We'll probably update this after the jam voting period end !

Anyway thanks you so much for the feedback, we'll definitely go check out your game today !

Wow thanks for the amazing feedback and for checking out our game !

And yes, Yann really nailed the art (as he always do haha) we're just sorry for him that we didn't have enough time to use every tile he made for the game.

Have a great day !

Wow thanks for your review !

We edited the description about that, sorry ! Since we are french we forgot that the standard to use is QWERTY based keyboards haha

Really nice theme interpretation haha, i saw your post on discord and i knew had i to play your game. I felt it lacked some feedback when people are hurt, and maybe some kind of objectives to feel like there is a real goal to the game.

Hey ! The gameplay loop was nice and i spent some time playing the game :) It could benefit from a bit more introduction on the fight, and maybe improve UI a little bit to make it clearer. I also had a bug, where i could not buy or sell anything after playing for a while. Overall, it was a fun game to play, congrats !

Great level of polish and fun gameplay, well done !

hey, i got the same problem on Arc browser

It was a bit tricky to get the hang of controls at first, but i had fun, it kinda felt like a pinball rpg which is really original :)

Hello, thanks for the feedback !

Thank you very much ! The heartbeat and the "lifeline" are the visual cues for the rhythm, but it would have been great to have a tutorial to introduce it and calibrate it

Thanks for the kind words ! Agreed on the sounds, they would need some fine tuning

Thanks :)

Thanks for playing ! We missed some more time to make a tutorial but i definitely would be great to add one to introduce mechanics to the player and fine tune the rhythm to the player's experience

Thanks a lot for playing and taking the time to point out where we could have done better !

The art is fantastic ! Gameplay wise it was nice but i feel like the auto shoot / refill balance made it a bit too slow paced, it could benefit from a faster gameplay with a bit more juice on the shooting part :)

Simple, effective, great idea ! The queen gives me trouble cause i'm bad, but fantastic work !

Nice ambiance and gameplay, well done :)

Really polished, simple and effective, nicely done !

Too bad it is so short, it felt like it was going to be great !

Brilliant ! I'm waiting for a sequel now

I really like the concept ! The art is very cool, I really like the buildings animation
The game is cool and fun

Wow, we almost did the same game ahah. Overral, really good take on this. I love the fishing mini game ! The musics are sweet and the game has a chill and cosy vibe to it ! Great work on this.

What's interesting is that I'm totally not target audience for this type of game, but I'm surprised that I've been really enjoying myself during the entire playthrough !

You did an amazing job regarding the narrative/ambiant quality. It reminded me of the stress feeling you can feel playing frostpunk, this feeling of "it will be harder and harder". For me the game balance was really ok, I struggled enough without being too much in pain, which allowed me to be kept entertained so on that side too that's a really good point.

A smart decision you made (which might not have been quite easy to do regarding the time you must have invested writing everything) was to summarize what every decision would imply. It allows the player to read without feeling the "need" to read, afraid of losing a piece of information. That made me really more immersed than I though and might even have reconciled me with this type of experience.

I'm astonished ! The quality and polish in the game is insane for a 1 week jam. I like that there was 2 different endings, but would have loved a little checkpoint after the ending 1 in order to avoid fast skipping every dialogues in the game just to take the other ending. Aside from that, magnificent artworks, animations are great, attention to details is absurdly good (I mean, who has handle the case where the rain start and the character wear his hood ?).

Congratulation for this game !

I really like the AD, look amazing and the audio is fantastic.  Cozy, a bit repetitive but really cool

Great and strong concept, like super hot but in a 2D side scroll I love it ahah.

To be honest it's too hard for my brain to figure how to get through the end of the game, I stuck at the map where 2 enemies are rushing towards you really close to each other. But I retried a lot of time and the concept feels great, the lore around it can be greatly extended to make a Tron like story, that's really really well done !

Your both really talented knowing that you made everything by yourselves, congrats !

Great game, I really like the verticality of the concept, also the gameplay is well implemented, and the boat physics worked well ! It was really fun to play and didn't bored me a second !

Congrats on making everything on your own, the game is good ! I liked the building / strategist phase and the anxious feeling you have when the storm is unleashing it's wrath on your creations, well done !

Like an other person said below, I would have added a mouse wheel sensitivity parameter in the settings so that you can better select the barrier type you want to build, but overall well done.

Promising game with a strong concept ! I loved the storm phase with the angry music and all ahah, that was really funny. Congrats !

Great game, I probably spend too much time on it already because of how much the gameplay loop is addictive !

The issue I run into is that if you lack any resources at a given time, it can be almost impossible to get back up until the storm arrive so I found myself having to skip turns until the storm come and destroy some of my stuff. But aside from that I was really hooked, the "card booster" opening was a really fun thing to do each turn !

Honestly that's an awesome game for a span of only 1 week so congrats !

Wow, never played an auto battler before and this one sure feels unique, the possibilities seems endless to expend this further ! Great art and music too so congrats !

Really great graphics ! On my side I think the best part of the game is the background music track, for a jam that's one of the very very few that doesn't sound repetitive even after listening to it for 10 minutes in a row so really great job.

Here are my two cents about the game : I really struggled with the character movements until I found the jetpack (which felt really good to go through the LD using it). In my opinion, the game would have been really better with the camera a lot unzoomed because the zoomed camera made me feel like I was inside a gigantic maze and didn't know were to go at all (maybe that's what you were trying to reach tho). Maybe it would have been good to add some small assets like posters or noticeable items like that in the LD so that player could somehow locate themselves as they progress further.

Anyway, aside from that you all did an amazing job, the introduction comic book looks sick ! Congratulation !

Hey ! Brilliant game, the end twist is well done (I still don't know how I couldn't see that coming despite spending 5 minutes to clean every bloodstrains on my way ahah).

Anyway, the art is really great and the music fit well ! Also great theme interpretation, that quite amazed me ahah.

Wow you can be proud of what you delivered ! Great graphics, great audio ambiance, I would probably pay for a game like that with a full scenario. Congrats !

Wow, what a fun game ! The boat controls feels really great ! the only thing that I found kind of missing was the sound  fx during the storm phase, but that aside it was really fun !

Congrats on making all of your assets too which should be taken into account in the ratings in my opinion, that's really not that simple to do !

Hey ! Great mini games, especially the fishing one. It was really fun to play ! The polish level is impressive for a game made in 1 week, congrats !
