Thank you for clarifying! That makes total sense—I completely understand how busy things must be with your consulting work and family life.

We don’t have a mailing list set up yet, but once we do, I’d be happy to add you to it so you can stay updated without needing to keep up with Discord. In the meantime, I’ll leave the Discord link here in case you’d like to drop by occasionally: https://discord.gg/p4jCS2NwXd

We really appreciate your willingness to give feedback and playtest when you have the chance. It means a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop as the project grows.

Thanks, we’re glad you had fun with the game! We’re continuing development to bring Looplash to Steam. If you’d like to see where we take it, would you be interested in joining our Discord?

Thanks!

Teşekkürler!

Thank you for such detailed feedback! You’re right—at the moment, the loop isn’t as meaningful as it could be, and that’s something we really want to improve. We do have one mechanic where not moving can help: when the spinning saws are active, they last longer if the circle rotates slower, which happens when you stay still. But it’s a pretty subtle effect, and we agree it needs to be stronger and clearer.

Your ideas about collectibles and timing-based interactions are exactly the kind of directions we’d like to explore further. We’re continuing development for a Steam release, and we’d love to have you in our Discord to share more thoughts like these. Would you be interested in joining?

Thanks! Here's the link: discord.gg/TbWZ7M3K

Thanks a lot! I’m really glad you enjoyed the vibe we were going for. We’re already working on a Steam version with extra content and polish, so hearing this kind of feedback is super motivating. If you’d like to follow the progress and share your ideas along the way, would you be interested in joining our Discord?

Yeah, Feel really is a lifesaver! I don’t think we could have polished Looplash this much without it — we pretty much used it everywhere too. By the way, we’ve decided to keep working on the game and bring it to Steam. If you’d like to follow the progress (and maybe share your thoughts along the way), would you be interested in joining our Discord?

Thanks a lot! I really enjoyed watching you play Looplash on stream, and I appreciate it again! We’re continuing development for a Steam release, and it’d be great to have you in our community as the game grows. Would you like to join our Discord?

Thanks a lot! We’re glad you enjoyed the game.

We’ve been getting quite a few requests for weapon customization, and it’s something we’re now planning to include alongside upgrades. We’re continuing development for a full Steam release, and we’d love to hear your ideas as we go. Would you like to join our Discord?

Thank you so much! Your comment absolutely made our day.

We’ve actually decided to keep developing Looplash into a full Steam release, and we’d love to have you along for the ride. We’ve just opened a Discord to share updates, gather feedback, and run playtests — it’d be awesome to have your thoughts as the game grows!

By the way, we’ve just opened a Discord server for the game! We’re continuing development to bring Looplash to Steam, and the server will be the place where we share updates, get feedback, and run playtests. Would you like to join us there?

Thanks a lot!

We’re really glad you enjoyed the vibe. Those enemy-clearing moments are some of our favorites too, and we plan to lean into that adrenaline rush even more as we develop the game. We’re working toward a Steam release and would love to hear your ideas along the way. Would you be interested in joining our Discord?

Thanks a lot!

We’re really glad you enjoyed the move/shoot mechanic! Upgrades and customization are definitely on our to-do list—in fact, we planned to add them in the jam version but ran out of time. We’re continuing development for the Steam release and would love to hear your ideas. Would you be interested in joining our Discord?

Thank you!

Thanks so much for the kind words!

That’s a really good point about the bullets on the outer edge. We’ve been talking about ways to make them feel more intentional and strategic, so it’s defitinely something we’ll keep in mind.

We’re continuing development to bring Looplash to Steam, and it’d be great to have your thoughts as we refine mechanics like this. Would you be interested in joining our Discord to follow the progress and share your thoughts?

Thank you so much!

We’re really glad you enjoyed it, and you’re spot on—it does share a bit of that rhythm game feel, especially when you get into the flow of timing your shots.

We’ve decided to continue development and bring the full version to Steam, so there’s plenty more challenge and polish to come! Would you be interested in joining our Discord to follow the progress and share your thoughts along the way?

Thank you for the kind words!

I took a look at your other comments and I can see you give thoughtful, honest feedback to other developers—something I really appreciate!

We’ve decided to keep developing this game into a full release on Steam, and feedback like yours is exactly what helps us make it the best it can be. Would you be interested in joining our Discord to follow the progress and share your thoughts along the way?

Thank you! The highscore is 24290 now, a friend of mine managed to get that at his 3rd try! I could not believe it, haha. Even we developers are not that great at our game :D

We'll work on a better balancing soon, sorry about the insane difficulty spike!

I really liked the comic-style intro—very charming. I also enjoyed the art style, though personally it felt a bit too colorful for me. I think a darker color palette might better suit the gameplay experience. Then again, maybe that expectation came from the game reminding me of Darkest Dungeon, so I could be biased. 😅

I'd love to share a few pieces of feedback—hopefully they'll be helpful:

  • Instead of tapping the 'Next' button on the right, my instinct was to click the center of the cave to proceed. It might feel more intuitive that way. Alternatively, the game could automatically move to the next room when there's nothing left to do.
  • When picking up items, they move to the right side of the screen, but since the inventory is on the left, it might feel more natural if they moved left instead.
  • I assume the character’s health is indicated by their portrait, but it wasn’t very clear. I expected the heart icon next to the portrait to visually deplete as I took damage. I couldn't really tell how many hits I could take from looking at the portrait alone.
  • There are a few UX design issues, like the game not reacting when you hover over items. I’m guessing you’re already aware of this but ran out of time to polish it.

Again, good job overall—and good luck if you continue development!

The artwork is fantastic, I absolutely love the exaggerated action poses when shooting! Really well done!

I figured some games would explore the ‘kill your past selves’ concept for this jam, but this one pulls it off better than most. That said, there are still some design issues that would need to be addressed. It could really benefit from more depth—especially in terms of environmental variety and meaningful path choices. Something like explosive barrels or other hazards could add a lot of fun options.😄

Right now, the gameplay feels a bit repetitive. It might just be me, but I found my engagement dropping after the first run. As others have mentioned, the game should probably encourage constant movement—otherwise, players might find ways to exploit the system, which I’m guessing isn’t the intended experience.

That said, it’s still a solid entry with a lot of style and potential. Great job!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for the kind words! And sorry about the sudden difficulty spike.

After some playtesting, I realized that new players were having a hard time adapting, so I rebalanced the game to be a bit easier.
Unfortunately, I was only able to upload the updated version (v0.1.5) to the Windows build. If you played the WebGL version, that one still contains the original, harder balance.
If you're looking for a smoother experience, I recommend trying the Windows version!

Looplash is a fast-paced arcade survival game where you fight off enemies using a rotating skill circle.

We've developed this game for GMTK Jam 2025.

Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you! ^-^

Hello there! I played your game for 4 levels or so. There are some issues I see in the game, I want to give you some feedback! First of all, if I'm not mistaken, there is no coyote time or jump buffering in the game, but those are like platformer 101. Having those   will really help your game. Second, it's easy to die in this game but it doesn't start  fast enough again. It should start instantly. Another thing is that when I press <ESC> I thought I would see a pause menu but instead the game closed. Finally, the game definitely needs a soundtrack!

I hope the feedback helps!  If you don't understand my reasons for the feedback, feel free to ask. I will do my best to explain them further.

Thank you!!

Nice game! Looks really polished! I think the only thing that I don't like about the game is that we don't have enough time when we encounter the next enemy. There is no way that I can process the info at hand and change my items fast enough. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? I don't know.

I have a question but it is going to be a little bit off-topic. I see that you got many comments on this jam game. How did you manage to advertise a jam game this much? I am a developer too, I would like to know how to do better marketing!

Birilerinin oynayıp beğenmesi beni çok mutlu etti,  denediğin ve yorum yaptığın için çok teşekkür ediyorum. :D Oyunun zor olmasını amaçlamıştım, bitirebilmiş olman harika. :D

I don't know why but the game won't load. And since there is no download button, I can't play it.
