The half-tile was strangely difficult to even implement, if I had the time I would've made it stand out much more.

A hover effect is probably one of the first things I should've considered, I'm not quite sure why I didn't make one.

Regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

Got to about night 20, didn't take a single point of damage. This was really fun! It didn't quite click that making a rectangle would be more effective than simple reflection around the center, and finding out that worked was a bit of a dopamine hit.

The game felt very easy, and honestly the only sigil worth getting is the sulfur sigil.

The sound was a bit busted because the only available build was HTML, but the particles made up for that.

BTW I really appreciate the alchemy theme :)

(darn itch and posting a comment multiple times!)

I really appreciate the artstyle and dialogue, my only issue is a lack of audio and the meters being broken after day 1.

The game was quite fun, but without a native build playing it was a bit unenjoyable. It was also hard to read any text in the game due to the aliasing and small size. Ignoring that though, it was really good!

Huh... I don't get that issue. Game loads up just fine.

I've had this issue reported several times, I don't know what's causing it...

When did the error happen?

edit: Thanks for the kind words about the game, of course :D

I don't know what's up with the web build... What was the issue?

Sorry, I accidentally swapped the Windows and HTML files! It's all good to go now!

Oh dang, I'll fix that asap

The game has two secret menus you can access very simply. One of these menus is the Chart Editor allowing you to create new levels in the game, and the other is the Cheats menu letting you enable optional (really hard) challenges.

To access both of these, all you need to do is type:
Up arrow, Up arrow, Down arrow, Down arrow, Left arrow, Right arrow, Left arrow, Right arrow, B, A, Enter

You legend, thank you.

That won't work in level 2 though

Your time was 0 minutes, 58 seconds.

I'm glad you like my game!

The ai was made to be intentionally hard to beat! It basically always returns your balls without actively trying to score, so you can get used to the controls!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed playing with the AI :)

I tried to make a help menu in the game, but it was a bit of a mess. If you check the game's page, you'll see an explanation of the controls! Thanks for playing!

Thank you! Even I can't beat the AI X)

0/10 not enough pain

This works great! Thank you for making this awesome program!

That's odd, but web builds generally do have problems like that.

There was no time to add a music player menu, but you can go to the source and download the files in the Music folder! :)

The intended way to open the cheat menu is to enter the konami code and press enter at the end x) glad you've enjoyed the game! I agree that the first song had a difficult beginning, but unless you're doing a perfect run I thought it was fine.

Also, Jesus Christ those perfects on level 2 and 3

Edit: if you wanted, you could have just edited the settings file in the user directory, the "cheats enabled" flag is there!

I love the  BunGun 9000! The gameplay is smooth and the upgrades are more noticable than other games. I think the animation could use a bit of work, and it's also kind of odd how the zombies don't turn around when chasing you.

The zombies feel a bit fast for zombies, and they feel a bit floaty, but that's just me. I think a better indication of their location (like an arrow pointing to currently alive zombies) and a timer for when they will next spawn would be nice.

The dine-in feels a bit too open, maybe some tables in the way to break up the open space would be nice.

All around, 4/5. Loved it!

Thank you! I had originally planned remappable controls but I barely had time to pack what I did into the game!

Now that I've completed the game I've got to say, this is a great game. There are certainly some difficulty problems, but the feeling of pure joy you get from finishing that one difficult level is addicting. The 100% run is not for the faint of heart, elderly or pregnant women, but if you aren't one of those I 100% recommend completing the game. In fact, even if you are one, why not risk it? It's worth it. :)

I absolutely love it (mostly because I have the record apparently) but the gun guys. The gun is ineffective.
