Got a couple different endings before getting the Sun Ending! I love this game and I'd play any other game in this setting (with this mc especially) in a heartbeat

Hey, seems like an interesting game! I didn't have anyone to play alongside but tried it out nonetheless.
Some feedback, mostly about the clarity with which the :
- The text in the HELP section is kinda hard to read (light yellow against gray)
- When purchasing units, some more info on what they do would be nice. Some more description. For example, there's info about mages in the HELP section, but it would be good to have this info pop up in the "buy units" window too.
- It would also be good to see info like 'range' for your pre-existing units too
- It would be good to have some indicator of how far you can move your unit when you have them selected so you know how far you can send them. There's the "range" info when buying units, but an indicator while you're moving them would be nice. Maybe tiles.
I mean all this feedback in good faith because it seems like the bones of a very interesting strategy game are here! Keep it up!
It's gorgeous and I was mesmerized just wandering around the setting for an hour, the combination of the sound design and the lively environment, it's not just gorgeous but very alive as well
but for some reason I didn't get any prompts to interact with anything after the teamaker, besides being able to throw jugs everywhere. Maybe I just didn't find the ritual somehow? I DID play at 4 AM so I'll try again when I'm more wakeful
But I'm commenting now because I want to say that I forgot that the game was supposed to have interaction with people , and also that it's supposed to be 30 minutes. So I just wandered around like some ghost and had a disorienting time which was also weirdly good.

Horrors I Wrought (read: wrote) Back in 2023 is a compilation of the flash fiction & short stories I wrote throughout the year of 2023, formatted in a strange & interesting way + some of the stories have art as well
Surrealism + body horror + psychological horror + just the general feeling of something being off + a couple of my friends have called it unhinged
You can find it here: https://chandra-space-telescope.itch.io/horrors-i-wrought-read-wrote-in-2023
I want to get some experience working with someone else on their vision before I go & work more on my own solo gamedev projects
Main points:
- I can make character 3D models in Blender
- I can animate an intro sequence using Blender & DaVinci Resolve
- I can make illustrations in Blender
- I can compose & produce music (battle themes, intro sequences, overworld music etc), see some examples here. I use Musescore 4.0 (for composing) & Cakewalk (for further production). I have a good understanding of how music is to be used in storytelling, so if you want music for a story-rich game then hit me up
- Team must be trans-friendly
- My talent is mostly in creepy / unnerving / unsettling stuff, but I can certainly make 3D models for stuff with other tones +I can direct that energy into other emotions for animation & music if needed
- Revenue sharing or paid work
I'm a writer as well but I'm not looking for that type of work (although it does mean I'll be happy to work closely with the writers, especially if I'm doing the music)

Hi. I'm Chandra & I like scifi (& some fantasy) + horror + surrealism (in books, videogames, etc)
I mostly write surrealist horror. I like to write fantasy & scifi too (my videogame WIP is fantasy, for example) but mostly I end up doing surrealist horror
I post my flash fiction & short stories on Substack.
Currently I'm working on a zine/ebook which will be a collection of my short fiction with illustrations. The stories are already free to read, but the illustrations will be a new addition (3D art done by myself) & I'll change some portions to be more like a comic too. Kind of an experiment to see what I can do with my writing + art
I haven't read any books from itch.io yet but I'm definitely going to look through some of the recommendations people gave here. But outside of itch, I love the Xenogenesis trilogy by Octavia Butler, ESPECIALLY the second book Adulthood Rites.
Hey. I'm a 3D artist & animator + musician + writer
