Fun concept, but very hard to control! I could only really control the player if I used a controller, but it was super fun to go fast! That damn lava bridge XD

Thanks that means a lot, and extra thanks to my home boy Scott for the fresh track and SFX!!!

No worries thanks so much for playing! :D

Thanks so much for playing! Yeah it certainly wasn't designed for mobile, or track pads for that matter. I was hoping to get controller support, but I didn't have the time to properly implement it. Fullscreen would have been a good cheap option for that, thanks for the feedback!

Thanks so much it was a blast to make. Maybe it's too subtle, but I actually spent a lot of time on the background effect to try and replicate it the best I could within reason. When you shoot the primary weapon, the background pixels actually react to your projectiles. Upgrading your gun by collecting 25+ gems affects them even more.  And when you use your bomb or die, you create a blast that sends a pulse out and sweeps the map. Each of the blue pixels in the background are actually individual objects that reacts to your attacks and death. Such a lowrez game allowed it to work and not bog it down at all. 784 of them blue pixels haha

Thanks so much I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hadn't ever seen the enemies do that on my end, but it's definitely possible. Certain enemies' spawn animations intentionally begin outside the boundaries to alert you, yet not take up playable space.  Thanks again!

This was very fun! The grapple worked well and the level design was easy to read. I definitely got a bug that launched me through the level and I couldn't move anymore. I think it was when I hit the spikes, it launched me into the solid earth. But very fun and loved the pixel art! The menu and UI elements all fit really well on the screen and the symbols are big and readable. Nicely done!

A very fun platformer for such a small screen! Definitely difficult, but the visuals and animations are beautiful. Nice work!

Thanks so much for playing, and I'm sorry you ran into that bug 8( I knew about it but couldn't fix it in time, such is the jam life. I know it happens when the row moves up around the same time that your block is about to land. A job for post-rating period for sure. Thanks again for playing!

Thanks so much for playing I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I experienced that bug too, but I didn't have enough time to chase it down and fix it before the deadline. Luckily it is semi-rare, so I hope it doesn't pop up too often. Waiting for a game over or a page refresh will take care of it lol. Thanks again!

This game is so fun. Hearing the guy scream and thud is a bonus on top of solid gameplay. The level design is very good and progresses nicely. Great job!

A very relaxing yet fun experience. I like the color effect on the path to trace, really makes it more enjoyable, and readable. Nicely done!

I like the idea of this game. But I rarely made it past the first room or two because of the difficult combat. It's hard to tell when an enemy is within striking distance, and since they one-hit-kill you, it was hard to get far. Congrats on finishing! :D

Thank you so much for playing I'm glad you liked it! It was a *blast* to make :D With my limited time for development I tried to focus on a simple idea that I could polish and balance to make fun. Thanks again for playing!

This is a fun game! Very cute and the gameplay is solid. Those ghosts are no joke! Always love a great last-level sendoff :D

From the developer, here is my high score!

This is adorable! It makes good use of the resolution restriction and the gameplay is quite addicting for such a small game. Nice work!

This is a super fun game! I always love seeing a pixel-perfect zooming feature in these jams, and the puzzle of planning their flight paths is very fun! Nicely done!

The gameplay is simple and easy enough, and I could see it being fun if you expanded upon it a lot. But it definitely needs more content and FX for player feedback. It also clearly breaks the resolution rules of the jam. Still congrats on making a game!

This is a great game! I love the minimalist design, especially with this game type. Makes it all very readable and playable. And the difficulty progression is solid, definitely hard towards the end. Great job!

The concept of walking around and mining is pretty cool! I could se this being fun if expanded upon. But like others said, I don't think there's anything to do outside of making the fire. I'm guessing there is no ship even though your controls say enter/exit ship?

Haha nice catch! I had some fun plans for the Sun if there was time, but of course there wasn't. But I kept it selectable, just the same. Thanks a ton for playing it!

Thank you so much! Yeah the RNG isn't as fair as I'd hoped in some areas without further tweaking. But I'm glad it still worked out, thanks again for playing!

Oh man you really nailed the breakdown of this game. You're absolutely right, some of the levels depend too much on getting a RNG drop, I just didn't have time to work it out better. Thanks so much for blasting through it and leaving the awesome review!

Thank you so much it means a lot to hear that! I tried to keep the levels nice n short so they didn't seem too repetitive or grindy.  And that ring world level was really fun to make once I drew it in concept. Thanks so much for playing it and the kind words!

A solid platformer at it's center and a fun romp through the levels. The music on the last level is boppin!

What a beautiful little fishing game. The music and sfx are great, reminds me a bit of Dave the Diver music. Very nice!

This is a fun little game.! The music is cute and the design is simple enough. I've always wanted to make a puzzle game with this jam, nice work!

This was a fun game! Definitely difficult, but the areas are short enough to where it isn't a pain to restart and try again. And the Boss fight is sweet, nice work!

Ah dang I'm super sorry to hear that. I haven't heard of anyone else having that issue, and I certainly didn't have that pop up at all on my end. What operating system are you playing it on?

Thanks, I know right!? My sounds buddy Scott did another awesome job on this jam! Thanks for playing!

Awesome thanks so much for checking it out! :D

I can see that being a little unclear the first time around for a level or 2, but I'm glad you liked it! Thanks a ton for the kind words and playing!

Thank you! It actually took a bit of work to make both the enemies and projectiles only collide at certain depths. Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much! I'm a sucker for always trying to make a rather "complete" game out of an idea.

This is awesome! I'm glad someone actually played it 2 players. Thanks for making the video!

Cool idea and works well within the resolution. I would love to see more variety in upgrades and monsters in a future update.

This is a super cool game. Easy to play but hard to master. I love it!

This was very fun! It was hard for me to be able to see the bullets with the limited colors but knowing about the hitbox helps. Nice work!
