This was a fun game! I like the town and the houses that can be cleared of spiders. The world is explorable, yet small enough for this jam to be easy to navigate. Nice job!
Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed the game. Truth be told I was worried each screen didn’t look different enough and would either be difficult to navigate or worse… boring.
Cool game. Was this inspired by the first Zelda?
If you wanted to you you could diffidently take this further. If you continue on I recommend adding some furniture/decorations to the indoor areas so they aren't so bare.
Also the font is not rendered within the 64x64 limitation of the jam and doesn't fit the pixel art of the game.

The game is nice and kinda short. But the gameplay is good.
I just notice that after I got damaged, it sometimes repeatedly attacks on its own. It's to my advantage though since I don't have to continuously press J, but I don't think that is intentional.
