Totally agree! Happy to be of help. ☺️

A game with a short gameplay duration is my type of game. I played it until I got this high score, hope it's high enough😂:

Easy mechanics and simple UI. 😌  I might only need to point out that you chose to put the game in visual novel genre, maybe you'd like to recategorize it so more people find it in the jam. ☺️

I love playing cozy cooking games like yours! Choosing kebap and Mr.Ding Allong surely secured you points for me😌 I'd like to mention 2 things I faced in the demo:
1- A JS error: I faced this error as I tried to press on the full screen. I'm playing on Safari from my Mac. Here's a screenshot of the message that popped up:

2- I put my ingredient in the glass box, but I couldn't break it with the hammer. I kept holding the hammer and leaving it by the box, but it didn't break for some reason. Maybe I was doing something wrong about it. 🙈

Looking forward to seeing its full version. And don't forget to add background music to put the players right in the atmosphere 😉

Mr. Ding Allong is a nice guide. Love his name 😅

Looking forward to it, does it have a name? I want to constantly google it till you release it😅

Of course, this is just our first step. What we focused on more was letting our game be introduced to the community and getting feedback so we'd develop ourselves more into the right direction. 😌

We hope that you enjoyed playing the game apart of the AI-generated artwork and that it didn't stop you from getting the immersive experience of testing your memory under pressure.☺️ -RonnaFemto Team

We'll be taking care of those details for our upcoming projects. But since you played the game, what are your other thoughts about it? 👀

Your thoughts are appreciated and will be considered. The artwork is by Gemini as we've stated in our credits. If the YouTuber/streamer does not accept AI-assisted games, we'd totally respect that. 😇

Thanks for taking the time to check out our game. We'd added Gemini for our credits part in the description so you're right. 😌

I enjoyed playing this game to the max! I could keep going on and on about all the things I loved in it and I won't be over. 😍
There are only some things I'd like to point out that you might want to take a look at:
1- The import save option in web: I was playing from Mac on web (Safari) and I had to exit the game and return back to it. I exported my save so that I can import it and continue where I left off, but the import didn't work. Even though a message that said "save successfully imported" popped up, the "Continue" button in main menu page didn't work so I had to skip from the buttons on the right.

2- The database error: In the middle of the game, an error message popped up frequently that it blocked some of the art/text of the game. I took a screenshot of it so you can analyze it here:

3- More choices: This one is a personal favorite since I'm one used to playing Choices & Episodes 😅 (Your game is way better than them by the way). And maybe in visual novels it's normal to have not so many choices in the demo since it's a just a demo.

There's one last thing you can do that'd help other developers (like me🤭) which is if you can add a hyperlink to the contributors of the game in the description's credits part. I'd like to check their profiles if they've ones on itch.io and if they don't I'd like to see the links you got your music and the rest of the assets from.

As a fan of this game, I'd also recommend you to post Dev Logs as I'm getting curious about the progress you made and how you brought this game to life. 😌

This game is WOW! 🤩 The historical facts, the characters' art that matches their personalities, the music, the background fish-scales like that faintly appears are all amazing. I didn't play a game before about the seven sins, but I loved it. What I personally enjoyed the most is that there's nothing explicit or annoying enough about the romance. I felt all of the emotions you warned for at the beginning of the game in the demo and I feel this is a success! Hope to play the full game soon. Keep doing great games with awesome stories like this! ✌️

Take your time finishing them and I'm looking forward to playing them. Keep creating great games ✌️

Hello CREATOR! Nice to meet you. I couldn't find Dreamer on your profile page. But I hope you release a new game with the skills you developed. ☺️

We're thinking about adding Google Analytics for our game since we found that Itch.io's analytics still have some limitations. If you use Google Analytics, what kind of data you found most useful and drove you to update things in your game? 👀

Thank you! Hope you've the time to play it and share your thoughts about it ☺️

Recipe Frenzy

A cozy chaotic cooking card game that tests your memory under pressure. Can you prepare the right dish for Alex's last-minute guests?

I think one way to escape this paradox is by creating your own community and posting updates—even simple ones—monthly. I've not tried this solution yet, but that's what I saw one developer team does for their visual novel. They just post a monthly devlog while they're building their new game. You can also try finding streamers that'd play your game and post a review video about it on social media. I hope you can escape this paradox 😵‍💫

Recipe Frenzy

I played a game that tests your memory with a twist. You’ll be seeing how the burgers are prepared then you do it on your own. It gets more challenging as the burger gets bigger and you also have to remember the sides.🤯

Definitely worth a shot!

Most welcome, happy to be of help 😇

Burger Replay laid the pressure on me and I felt I need to improvise as the layers grew more and more. 😅 I loved that you used emojis and even though everything looks simple it is quite enjoyable and fun🤩. I couldn't handle the stress any longer after the 20th customer, I think I need to practice more 😂.

Thank you for mentioning us and we're really happy that you found it interesting enough to inspire you with this lovely game. We'll be waiting for its upcoming updates and until then I'll be working on getting a better high score 🤭

Hello Liminary, nice to meet you.
Which anime do you watch nowadays? 👀

Hey Nathan! There are great streamers in Feedback Quest Jam. They're not accepting new entries now but you can find the creators' links in the description so maybe you can contact them. ☺️

Hey there nice to meet you. 🤗 No, I'm from Egypt. ✌🏻

I only made 1 game so far but I'd love to try making visual novels, strategic games, and adventure games. Having software engineering background had certainly helped. Actually even in normal apps and websites they're trying to add gamification so it is not so hard to adapt. Maybe the only difference between Game Development and Software Engineering is the depths of Game Design and the Game Community's values. I'm still getting used to them by the help of good friends I got to know here on itch.io. ☺️

This is BRILLIANT! 🤩 The ‘miracle’ system is something I didn’t come across before. It’s realistic that sometimes you get stuck with what you have, you can’t take it back, so it’s best to try working with what you have and then you get lucky enough to be rewarded for it. Some might find it random but so it is when it happens in real life. 🤷‍♀️
I hope to see it more in games. 😌

Your sequence of thoughts is quite logical because how big a burger can get? And I love that you added the visual touch to Recipe Frenzy. We had comments about not getting the feeling of something getting cooked so it’s great that you addressed it. 🤩 Seeing Burger Replay made our day☺️.
Thank you for mentioning us. 🌺 -RonnaFemto Team

Thank you for your support! ✨

We’re happy you liked it, Pamela. Thanks for giving it a try.😊 -RonnaFemto Team

(1 edit)

We’ve never expected those kind words from someone with huge experience in games. Not everyone accepts new and challenging mechanics let alone getting inspired by it. Congrats on Burger Replay 🤩 We’re eager to see your upcoming games. 🙌 -RonnaFemto Team

The game's idea is simple and I like simplicity! For your next update I recommend you add music, make the buttons appear on different spots of the screen, or maybe make it moving. You can also add effects after you reach certain number of clicks. You can even make buttons that appear for a short time that have special perks (good or bad). For example a button can appear for only 10 seconds that has x2 points or another one that decreases your score if you press it! Keep up the good work and keep thinking simple☺️

We didn't use any installers for releasing Recipe Frenzy since we made it using Flutter. Flutter makes you directly export your Windows and Mac builds from a simple command in the terminal. ☺️

Quite interesting! We'll definitely be joining this for our new game. Thank you for hosting this event 🙌

I'm glad that you didn't straight away attacked AI users. Actually all what you said makes sense and fair enough. If someone does not have the time to write their own description or just read it after AI generated it totally doesn't deserve their game to be played. Personally, I used AI when I made my game because it's my first game and my friend and I are still new to the Game Development field. However, we didn't use it in text generation as you'd mostly pointed out. Hope to hear your opinion about our game if it's your type. ☺️

Totally agree and it takes some time to learn how to do this actually. It's only by feedback one can improve themselves. 😌

Congrats on finishing your game ☺️ I'd personally suggest you changing the color font of your game's description. Keep working on new games! 💪🏻

Hello there newbie! 👋 I think you don't have to pay anything to start publishing your game. We published ours smoothly on itch.io, but it's not the same for App Store and Play Store. You can follow the trending games, follow fellow game developers, artists, and music composers. You can also write your dev logs to show your game's work before release, this will help you build your own community a bit. If you're looking for assets, this is the place.
Wish you luck for your upcoming game! ☺️

So it's been a week since Senna and I published our first game. Recipe Frenzy took us 4 months to develop, but we'd spent more time before it till we settled with its idea. Our experience is so far so good, better than we even expected. We got feedback, positive and negative, and we appreciate them all. 😌
I wish we had communicated before releasing the game with the community, built some network, wrote some develops. Since this was our first experience with game development it took all the time and focus we had. I'd not say it's a mistake per-se, but I think it'd have been better if we released our first prototype of our game even though it was horrible and is nothing near our current version 😅 I have no regrets though, I'm glad we published it at all! ☺️

I am so glad I came across this feed! I publish my game there. Quite simple idea and very useful. Thank you 🤩
