Very fun! I filled up the upgrade tree and got all 20 bees to the top tier. I ended up with 400 excess combs- would be great to convert that to honey as it became difficult to get enough honey to upgrade everything. Also a win condition to work toward would be great. Perhaps being able to readjust the bonus for each tier would be interesting. Overall, awesome game!
Very fun concept and great execution! I liked the fact that it encourages you to ride the edge of clicking two bombs but not the third. I couldnt figure out the uranium so I just didnt mess with it. I only had 3 bombs, 1 fire, and tried to max out the number of diamonds on screen while maximizing the size. This meant my lose condition went way down while income went way way up. I'm sure there are better ways to go about playing it but I found that to be the highest percentage and lowest thought requirement to win. The sounds, colors, graphics are all very satisfying and understandable. I liked the music and I especially liked the way the numbers popped up at the end of the round. It would have been very easy to just have it go from left to right starting in the top left corner down the grid but the variation of that made it fun to watch... until I got to 14x14... would be great to be able to fast forward it. I ended up losing because I didnt look at the # days left and was just trying to maximize my scoring potential - a reminder would be great (3 days, 2 days, last day - kind of warning). Overall great concept and execution. I had fun!
I had fun! Got all the way up to the 100k koi. It became quite arduous to grow those fish, even when maxed everything out. I took this to be the end game but if that's the case, trying to collect all of the 100k fish, let alone all of the 1k fish would be herculean and, frankly, a major waste of time. It turned off the dopamine hits I was getting from growing the fish and selling the less valuable ones so I just had a pond of super valuable fish... I would have wanted to create pretty ponds filled with fish of all one color palate or things of that nature but as I was waiting for my money to tick up, I decided to fill the pond with as much food as possible so that I wouldnt have the difficulty of feeding them when I could afford to buy a new one. I must have hit the cap on food (screen roughly 75% full) because the game bricked. When i reloaded, the save point was a ways back and all of the food was gone. All in all, very fun time sink with lots of dopamine hits throughout. Loved the polish and core idea. A couple of ideas: Perhaps moving the end point down to 50k or 75k and scaling down the required growth could help keep interest? Also, being able to move fish from one pond to the other? Breeding? Again, I had a bunch of fun and think this was great!
I realize both of these suggestions might be against the core ideology of the game so take them with a grain of salt. I like creating something pretty but adding the option to speed up the ticks would be helpful to see a more realized tree faster. Adding in the opportunity to delete branches would be fun as well to have more user input.
Cute! I liked the storyline! Always a nice thing to be able to skip longer cut scenes. Didn't exactly know right off the bat how to put things together or that there were "types" of buppets. I kept searching for the green sock and wasted a bunch of money doing so. The different flair was great! Having only 3 in the rotation was tough to juggle, especially when you found synergy and you couldnt just have a B team hop in. I think I only got to day 8. Fun and I liked the music!
Very cute fun game! I really liked the dancing squirrels! A little frustrating that the squirrels dont recognize that I picked up an acorn and they walk all the way over to it, bypassing closer acorns. Could be fixed with a check that ticks periodically to see if the acorn they wanted to pick up was still there - and you can put in a bReserved per acorn so multiple squirrels dont try to pick up the same one. Maybe "vision" is an upgrade for the player to zoom out their camera? Awesome!
That's awesome! Thanks for the reply!
I assigned the squads to the various missions I think they would be good at, then hit join button for the leader to join, then unclicked. The star value wouldnt always change and sometimes hovering my mouse over another squad whether I was attached or not. I'll see if I can recreate it.
I really enjoyed it! Very thematic and felt like there was good push/pull for sending certain squads out vs others. I think it would be interesting to find ways to drive stronger emotional ties to the soldiers themselves so when you lose one, it hits a bit harder. The names of the dead etched into the desk was a really nice touch to this point.
I noticed just one little bug regarding the updating of stars for the missions when I hit join and then switched to others.
Do soldiers have different skills or is it just green, raw, etc. + awakeness + bond that dictates success?
Very fun game! I was engrossed and always wanted to figure out how to get my scoring higher!
interesting thought for a game! Not much push and pull in terms of resources... water and food not implemented... just keep going up. I completed ice and water pretty easily. Game bricked the events on desert at 70% so I couldnt make the cloning system to finish it. Research level doesnt contribute to more research over time. Pretty easy if you level all systems up by 2 before deploying. Lowest my pop ever got was 83. Would be interesting to implement deeper gameplay and force players to make more meaningful choices.
Thank you, Comrade! I never would question the magnificence of our Great Leader, nor would I ever interact in a way that is not permitted by their undeniable will.
I did play again after your comment and found it not only fun but an enjoyable experience when I realized I was wrong and it was indeed possible to still play on a full screen.
One of the greatest features of this game, I realized when I reached Level 160 or so (possibly before), the required bounces didn't scale as much so once I hit a critical mass of double bounces and splits, as soon as the first set of balls dropped, I would level up. This allowed me to level up incredibly quickly and I wouldn't have to watch the balls bounce around. The Great Leader ensured that we all may level up incredibly quickly and all reach our full potential. This is a great achievement! o7
Fun little game! Even on hard, it becomes easier and easier as more of the map is lit up. It doenst quite follow the trend in gaming where games become harder as the player progresses. That being said, I did get caught a few times when I was picking up the candles as I saw them available, rather than being strategic with my light level. Also, when the witch shows up, I didnt realize the point was to run through the exit and did find it fairly easy to do so once I knew that was the objective. Again, really fun game! Loved the music, art style, polish was good too! Job well done, I can see why you all won!
Fun little game! It was great to combine towers and see what the next one was. However, the cost per tower quickly outran the income from each round, and since cost per tower increases every round, incomes never caught up. I found by the mid 20's I was never going to be able to afford a new tower. Highest I got was round 34 and biggest combination was the bigger waretree
Very fun to change the environment and extremely satisfying to clean up the trash! Would be interesting to have a little more progression from grass -> shrubs -> new forest -> old forest. Do the animals procreate? Would be interesting for the long term to try to balance the populations of deer, wolves, rabbits, etc. and end game looking more like forest/ecosystem management. Really enjoyed it!
Having a scoreboard for the 200 year playthrough would be great so you can see how various families stacked up against each other. Also, keeping track of various notable characters would be fun as well as characters that participated in the most successful events aka midwife, usurpations, most children, etc.
The only bug I've noticed is after an autosave, speed is set to slow even if I paused it during the autosave (or right before).
Very fun concept and execution up to this point! Capturing territories feels very satisfying and the sounds and visuals are great! The bigger points representing capitals vs smaller ones to capture territory was great.
A couple of thinks that I think could use some work - I found myself frustrated trying to move pieces around the board. Dragging the balls into place took forever and frequently they would die before I could get any reinforcements to them.
Also, it was impossible to see how much damage was being done by my units vs theirs. The machine gun units are of course much stronger but it was impossible to tell how many units I had to spawn in to win the objective.
Having to open the military tab to then hit I to spawn in a unit took a lot. I found myself at $100+ with no ability to fully man the front lines.
Although I'm just a dumb American, I know several of the larger cities/areas in this part of the world due to my KRKA Novo Mesto save in FM24 and being interested in Slovenia specifically. However, I dont exactly know where Zalaegerszeg, Pula, and Karlovac are exactly. There might be an indicator after you choose the scenario and choose your country that highlights the POI you need.
Those are just my two cents... I can see the vision and with a little bit of quality of life improvements, I could see myself playing this a fair amount!
