Fun little game! Clearly shows the depletion of natural resources... but wood is a regenerative resource so maybe add in a forrester or something to regrow trees? A bit more progression in terms of other buildings, maybe different resource (stone, gold, copper) to add more buildings. It would be great to be able to drop off resources at buildings and have it queue instead of having to stand there for each production. Upgrades to workers, carts, etc. Perhaps teching into horses to speed up carts, different tools workers can use, housing for workers to rest at (so they're not one use) but you have to pay them to come to work, etc.

Longer term - adding in different ways to see income vs expenses (profit), etc. Taking loans (money now but have to pay back over time). ETC.

These all increase the scope of a very strong proof of concept. Who doesnt like seeing money go up?

Maybe there's an overarching goal of upgrading your house (a la Animal Crossing) and putting the player on the treadmill of consumerism (nicer and nicer things cost money) to create a drive for the player to keep adding to the system.

Again, I really enjoyed it!
