This was really pretty, and kind of an interesting idea (the various modes and tools). For a platformer though i found it a little glitchy in the movement / collision, and got frustrated i couldn't always see what i was standing on or in, since sometimes the environment occludes the bottom of the character. In windowed mode the text/instructions was hard to read.

The sound did a great job of flowing with the game.

This  started off really well although i got confused from time to time about which resource i spending / mining.  But there's some wonkiness with the randomness that can bite you - i started one game and clicked 'move' to the first area and ran out of fuel before i got there. An unwinnable round.  It would also be helpful if it would mark where you've already been / if something is already mined out.

Crazy Detective Golf Game!

I had a lot of fun with this and actually started getting nervous about getting caught! Nice concept.

One piece of feedback is that i at first read the 'arrows' control when you pull back and take a shot backward and propelled myself in exactly the opposite direction. I did this more than once, i kept thinking of it as a forward marker because there is no club. FYI.

A nice little side-scrolling adventure game.

One note: you need to trap input a bit, if you get near any of the objects with more than one screen of dialog and spam in the interaction key ('e') - the text will start overwriting itself and you get gibberish.

This was super fun, if also super frustrating! Had a great time with it.

The music fits the game really well, and the minimal sounds. And being able to draw the little platforms at an angle is a really nice touch.

One note, there is a bug if you are playing inside the page (i.e. don't fullscreen) and then accidentally hit the 'go fullscreen' button the controls somehow go weird - for me, it was both a and d would run to the right. If you escape out to windowed it works correctly again.

This is a great little rogue-like, had some fun with it although it is also quite challenging (I never seem to be particularly good at these kinds of things). The scenery and sound fit together really quite nicely. The menuing and main screen feel a little less polished, i'd really think through those first few visuals and really punch them up.

One easy note is that i found the control scheme didn't really match how i wanted to control it - adding the ability to remap controls to different buttons isn't too much of a lift, and would really help the access to folks with different machines / layouts.

In response to user feedback we have reduced the vibrancy of the main text to make it easier to read for longer stretches of time. Enjoy!

there's more to those level 3 lanterns than meets the eye... although we were interested to see your approach to them!

Glad you liked it!  We certainly worked really hard on the 'balance' metaphor throughout, as it's the core of the entire idea.  Good to know it came through :)

Glad you like it!
