Use of the limitation
We made the stats so they are always changing and you must keep them calibrated so the player stays alive, and we incorporated the Wind theme by making everything themed around flying vehicles

I really enjoyed your game! It was quite difficult and you had to multi task on many different things. I also liked the art and the style it gave off. Incredible for only 2 people to finish a game of this quality in 3 days!

Please check out our game Ascent

The instruction is wonderful! XD I liked this types of games where you need to be fast and concentrated :)

Realy liked, its hard, i liked it a lot.

Loved the visual style! A bit too micro-managey for my liking, but the concept works and is initially fun to find out what does what.

this was weirdly addicting, i liked it.

fun I did find myself spinning more than actually flying though.

great game, very interesting with crazy content for a game made in 3 days for 2 people. I don't know how you did it in the time frame for the jam, well done. the concept is interesting and rich in mechanics. the graphics and the sound design are clean if we were to leave out the negative points it would be that the game lacks a little polish on this difficulty, the plane is constantly broken down and we die quite often, the small manual of the plane does not explain not really sure what to do to repair your plane at first and you find yourself pressing all the buttons to find out who does what exactly. Finally the main gameplay loop does not exactly revolve around a concept of constant change, this remains quite anecdotal in the game. but generally speaking, play well you have made a great game

Thanks for the indepth comment!

Yes we slaved our souls for 6 to 9 hours a day to get the game done with all the things we wanted, If i had to do this by myself the game would probably not have as much stuff as it does currently but hey, that's the pros of working with someone!
Yes we noticed that the difficulty is quite steep when it was too late to change, the implementation of the limitation was really the hardest part as we had ideas for some more themed mechanics like having the cities you trade in move constantly but we had to cut them off due to time constraints as our scope started to get too big to manage. But I appreciate the encouraging words

I GOT VICED WITH THAT GAME 20/10

Best game ever. For me, you're the winner. Flight Simulator is nothing compared to this. The limitation is followed to perfection.

This game is very well done. It also feels like the old flash games I would play on Newgrounds :)

I feel like if you tweak the difficulty and add more polish, it could be something really special. Do you have any plans to develop if further?

Great job! ✈️

I was talking with my teammates and we would like to return to the game for one last update post-jam, but it's not set in stone yet, glad you enjoyed it though

This is really really good. Loved this game, didn't feel at all like a game made in such a short period of time. Everything was polished, no bugs encountered and wonderful graphics. Excellent work!

Thanks for commenting! And yes the game looks great at the expense of the team coder's sleep schedule (me (it was rough)) But that's the price of quality

Hey, this is a cool game. I love all the little buttons and interactive things, it reminds me of Paper's Please :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for commenting! Yes we made sure that all the buttons felt good to poke, took the whole last day to do that

Papers please was also certainly a minor inspiration for doing an interface heavy game

What a spectacular game! It took me some time but I finished it and left for space, how satisfying!
Congratulations on everything, the game is complete and absorbs you completely.

Ayyyy you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear someone finished it during the rating period!

Thanks for commenting as well, I'm very happy to hear you liked it

I also finished it and agree with my colleague, your game was very intriguing and entertaining! Only one thing to report: with a trackpad/apple mouse is very hard to turn the plane guide pages, maybe having the possibility to consult it with directional arrows would work better for those playing with a MacBook ;)

Noted for the future

I believe you guys have done  a great job. This game has a lot of small nifty features for a game made in just 3 days. Good work I enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks for the comment!

We agreed in the team to keep the important mechanics small and focused so we could make em quickly, I spent the last day of the jam purely polishing adding button animations and sounds so along with a few fun things like the guide and the touchable friend, the few things to do gave a lot of feedback

Really really cool concept. I loved figuring things out and having the manual was fun.

It looked good, and the controls were easy to grasp.  My only big piece of feedback is that it could probs be slightly easier or at least have more periods of calm, as it stands, it remains at a constant frantic high and that can lead to some fatigue. Perhaps just slow down the fuses a bit. Overall though, I think its a fantastic concept, it reminded me of papers please with the meticulous management required.

Awesome, work! Thank you for sharing.

Developer

Thanks for the comment! And thanks for the real feedback, yes we underestimated a little how frantic it does get to realize when it was too late and others started playing it lmao.

The nice words are always appreciated
