I'd like to keep improving my pixel art and game design skills and I also like getting feedback from other participants about what they did and didn't like about my game.

i am most likely not even making it into top50, so i would like to improve my godot, art and programming skills, jams are nice motivation

I joined in order to improve my skills, but the theme also happens to coincide with something I really want to make, so I'll probably try to turn it into a full game later down the line.

Improve my skills, create an interesting prototype I can transform in a full game, make myself known in the community, having fun :)

  1. For fun
  2. ‘Cause I’m usually bored
  3. It’s just my hobby to make games

All of the above!

I see game dev as my hobby, I'm very new to it, I just want to make stuff :) if someone plays it, that's a bonus.

Because I turned 30 last week & decided it's finally time to make something.

Get some experience working on a single game for more than 3 days :P

1. It's my first gamejam ever

2. i want to train and develop my gamedev skills

3. i need to learn to compromise myself with a project for more than some days

3. sounds really fun to come up with an idea based on a single word!

I was made redundant recently and need to build up my portfolio with non-VR related stuff, as I was getting a bit sick of that stuff anyway

Learning and actually completing something.  I started developing my first game nearly 4 years ago and still haven't finished a single game. Most of that time I've also spent on a single large solo project, so my skillset is quite narrow.  Still want to get into the game industry and got a few months mostly free, so I figured it a good time to try and build up a portfolio, and game jams provide a good framework/incentive for it.

Not that I actually managed to finish my game in either of the previous two jams I joined, but just gotta keep trying.

Motivation to get back into game-dev and not get stuck as a cli-dev for the rest of my days
