Nice game: This is not the kind of game I would expect on a Nokia. But it works well with your game!

you still might want to add some animation/assets to make the game more appealing. Like showing the face of passengers, etc. I'm thinking about things like in papers pleased

Congrats for you game!

Thank you!

Right! I wanted to add images that go with each action and result. So if someone goes to collect wood and they find a big tree, then a big tree would be displayed to the player. I think this would have made a big difference in the game feel. However, I kind of ran out of time so I wasn't able to add that.

Thanks a lot for playing and also for the feedback!

Great use of the theme. I only managed to survive 10 days, but I enjoyed playing! Nice work!

Thank you very much!!

That was really tough—survived 14 days in my latest try, though! Might give it a few more tries later, it was fun. I think the lack of sound effects in favor of tense music was the right approach here, it personally made me more immersed in the life-or-death situation that the characters are in. Also, the overwhelming darkness from the lack of a background was ominous, perfect for this game. Good job! ♥

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you liked the music! It was really my first time making music for a game, so I hearing that you liked it makes me happy! I wanted to go for the tense atmosphere over sound effects :D

Thanks a lot!!!

I really enjoyed the game, reminds me of 60 seconds, but its a bit hard imo. The longest  I survived is 14 days.

Developer

Thank you so much! I took a lot of inspiration from 60 seconds, so I’m happy to get that feedback :D

Yeah, I also think it is too hard haha. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to balance all the events and items as much as I wanted to.

I learned that making games that require a lot of testing and balancing maybe isn’t the best idea for a short game jam haha.

The game was very good and suited the theme. After the jam I'll go back to play more calmly.

Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed it :D

Cool idea and well executed, the controls are intuitive and the art is cool, also the bonfire detail is really cool. If I had to add something to the game it would be having more and distinct events after passing the day, and some more interaction, but it's really nice for the timeframe and a solo developer, well done!

Thank you very much for the kind feedback! I'm happy to get some nice feedback on the fire detail :D
I haven't done pixel art in a while, and my initial fire idea was much simpler but it turned out in a way that I was proud of.

I totally agree that it would be better with some more interesting events and different paths that the "story" could go into. I had plans to add a lot more, but unfortunately I ran out of time so I had to cut it.

Thanks again!

Really enjoyed playing this one. The menus are readable despite the low resolution and the concept is cool

Developer

Thank you! I tried my best making the menus and navigation readable with the minimal screen space, so I'm happy to receive your comment! :D

Thank you very much for playing, I appreciate the kind words! :)

I noticed that the music doesn't seem to work in the web version, so if you can please try one of the included downloads. Please enjoy!
