Ah, its because you can talk to the Npcs and they tell you more about the village and Beatrice :) I at first had a point right to the left that led you straight to the playable levels, but friends suggested me to let players go through the village to see the changes and be able to talk to the Npcs. :)

It's a wonderful game, I really liked the cute penguin! And excellent idea with the cards. Nice Job!

Well done. Its cool that you can switch between weapons. The spider looks really blurry tho and also a little health indicator for it would be a nice addition!

It's a fun game and definitely challenging. I can see me playing it more if it gets a bit more polished. One thing is the enemies duplicate/spawning too fast/too much. So after a while, the game begins lagging. I don't know if it's because of my Computer, but that's what I am experiencing. Anyways, good job, fun game :)

Oh man, I loved the game! It's sad that it is so short because I would have enjoyed it to play even more levels, but understandable knowing its for a jam and the time restriction. After I beat it the normal way, I had to do the hard mode, :D took some tries but made it! Really cool idea to make the level slowly (or fast in the hard mode) disappear, loved it! Good job.

I like the art style and how the puppy looked. Weird (in a good way!) game. I could not always see the dialogue because of the Sprint bar, but aside that, it's cool made. Good job!

I really digged that art style! Also, the drawings in between are really cool, nicely done! The weather or the lightning effect looks so cool. Enjoyed my time!

Nice short high score game and funny idea. I think having some sound effects when you accomplish a mission or get busted, and also a bar or number of investments you have / can sell would be a nice addition. I never knew how much I bought and what I can sell. Anyway, good job :)

Fun and challenging game. I really like to look at it, feels like it could be an older game and that's a big plus for me. The music was fun and engaging, also the option to change the color palette in the menu is a nice addition! 

One thing: When I pressed left shift, the game pauses/stands still ? Pressing shift again does nothing tho. That happened right at the start, so I thought it maybe crashed, but I was able to pause the game this way in any stage of the game. Music is still playing, but nothing moves. Its not a big problem, I just reloaded the page and could play it and had fun, just letting you know in case you want to fix this, because its a cool game! Good job :D

Hard and challenging game. I love platformers, so I had much fun playing it. I really liked the mechanic of lowering the jump each time, so sometimes you had to think how long and where to jump. Art and Music are also nicely made, good game! :)

As mentioned, the camera fells a bit off, but beside that, its a really nice made hard but fun game! And the look is so good.

This game really reminds me of the binding of Isaac. It's a really fun game even tho I suck so bad :D very nicely made!

Really nice and good made game, had a lot of fun playing it. First tries I wasn't that good, then I nearly got to 900. Just had to see If I can beat it/win, and I finally did :D. Really liked the atmosphere and the chill music. I also had no problem firing the weapons, all felt nice! :)

I liked the game! I found it hard to get in the sweet spot of safety when the blocks came from both sides, but I also ain't that good in such stuff :D Beside that, I really enjoyed playing it. :) Reminded me about undertale!

 Liked the sound effects and music and the art was also nice to look at! Good job! :D

I really liked that the bosses were so different, it added a lot of variety! I am really not good at the game :D, but I had fun playing it! Well-made :)
