Gratz on your first entry.  I admit I tried every button on my keyboard, my friend's keyboard, my friend's sister's keyboard.. No I'm joking.  Right click to move did stump me though.  Apart from that,  I have to say the graphics are GORGEOUS!  Have you considered perhaps having the sun orbit the puzzle board and the squares reacting to shadow and light?  With some pyramid reflection or refracting the light?  Might create more dynamic board and some complexity.  Anyway, great entry :)

Thanks! that's some great ideas! :D

There are some interesting ideas here, but it took me a bit to figure out what was going on, in part because the controls were really confusing. I’m a bit unclear on why using the right click was necessary when I imagine left click would have worked just as well in those scenarios. It was also odd that you had to start the level, though that made more sense once I got further in.

Once I got the general idea though, I was interested to see more. I think this is a cool direction that could be worth exploring further and seeing where it takes you.

I also liked the art and the music. Nice job!

Thank you! I was contemplating on using keyboard or mouse for the movement, and yes, I could have done it with one button, and it's actually better for this project now that I think about it. Thanks for your input :D

Nice first game jam submission! I like the art style, music and use of isometric grid. I think you could expand on the mechanics and get a really nice minimalist game that has some charm. Quite nice and relaxing in its current form.

Thank you for the kind word! :D

This is an interesting concept, but I failed to understand the purpose of the sun and moon.

I guess it flipped blocks around, which is a cool idea, however, the puzzles could be completed without relying on that mechanic at all.

Anyway, congratulations on your first jam. I think you have created a pretty interesting game and you should definitely finish it after the jam.

Thank you for testing it out! :D I don't have much time to actually design the levels, so I just wing it. The sun and the moon is supposed to stagger your progress, to make you rethink wether to wait or brute forcing it. so it'll take effect when the level is bigger.. and more complex. at this stage it's just a show case.

Congratulations on your first game jam! This was a really cool project. It was a little difficult to understand, but once I got it I really enjoyed it.  I think the puzzle mechanic was really good and the art and music were excellent. It was fun to get through all the puzzles and would love to see this project with more levels and a bit more polish. Overall an impressive first time game jam entry!

Thank you! Glad you liked it :D

A really cool idea! I wish there had been more puzzles that had required you to wait for the second part to progress.

Developer

Thank you! I'll add some more after the jam :D
