If you have discovered malware please use the report link on the bottom of the game’s page. We take malware reviews very seriously. I don’t see any reports created on your account.

Well leafo one of them that i can remeber are https://pirattecorp.itch.io/gta-2 cause I Download on the 12/1/23 And the second i on it my pc caught fire and it happens on the pc this game is downloaded on

He is not complaining about actual malware. He is complainging about two games on page one of popular and probably a lot of other games on pages 1. A dime a dozen games. That ginger game is currently #1 even. It boasts to have been made in 4 days. The complaint is about those games drowning out the "good" games.

Basically it is another of those threads complaining that horror is so popular on itch.

In the original post they wrote: “Copy Cat Or Just Malware Examples” (emphasis mine)

You were browsing the popular section. What is to be popular is not decided by your taste. Not even by good ratings. It is decided by an algorithm that ranks games based on several things, including recent popularity. Judging by the comments, lots of people visit that ginger game, coming from youtube.

Look at https://itch.io/games/top-rated and https://itch.io/games/top-rated/last-30-days for a bit of quality ranking. And best combine with a tag of your nieche of interest, like rpg or rpg-maker.

Well redonihunter I Did That And I Had to go down to the 13 page before i can see any good games

If you had to go down 13 pages on top rated, you obviously disagree with most people rating games here, about what constitutes a good game. You sure, you visited top rated instead of popular?

Also, the game you used an example of a good game is on page 2, if you look for that type of game.

https://itch.io/games/top-rated/tag-rpgmaker?page=2

I did the both of them found some good games {and a lot of gay furry visual cheap ass novel}

Just ignore stuff you don't like who cares if it's popular. Look for stuff the interests you

I do that but the issue it is that they are too much shovelware and shitty games on this website

Find devs you like and follow them

I DID THAT AND THEY ARE LIKE 300 GOOD GAMES I COULD FIND THAT ARE NOT RESDINET EVIL RIPOFF OR GAY FURRY CHEAP ASS VISUAL NOVEL

Yep that's kids these days. If you can't get real pussy you play a visual novel.

I understand you my brother

That's the large issue. Teenagers playing games about Lesbian anime fox elves engaging in brutal sex.  If you get off on this rot you need your head read.

And these game maker hire YouTube channel to play the game and post it here to increase the algorithm

You think the algorithm puts weight on a game having comments with youtube embeds?

Might be. But I suspect the traffic from youtube with people coming here and playing the game is more than enough.

My observation is rather the opposite. Youtubers commenting with embeds to direct traffic to their youtube channel. But it probably works both ways. As it should. It is the internet after all.

Ok bud go through these shitty horror games and you will see that almost all of them has like 5 youtube embeds

How is that a problem? There are a huge amount of young developers on itch, sharing their creations even if they're bad. That's a great thing imo

You see bud That the thing a lot young developers on this site which inclued people that well meaning games and people that make games

That i would not use the word to describe lest i get ban
