What an addictive ass game! man this was right up my street and deffo took a solid chunk of my time haha in a good way of course! would love to see some minor improvements such as s better increment of difficulty and a bit more variation! ill be keeping my eye on this for sure. Thanks so much !

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yup, plan to do something with this beyond the jam based on peoples suggestions. Should be a fun journey. Thanks for playing!

I really very much got hooked into this game. It kinda hits that "number go up" part of my smooth brain, and alongside the introductory text cutscene building a story, the super smooth character animations, and the music, I was very ready to get cozy, break walls, and make the number go up! I very much dig the active-incremental game concept here, great stuff!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, glad you liked it. Look for more number-go-up fun in the future.

I enjoyed the music a lot.   I think the idea here is great and could have a mass factory type game in short order.   The graphics were great and the movement was smooth.   I do think the ramp up needs something early on to give a progression to automation a little bit sooner to keep the player engaged when moving diamonds by hand.

Developer

Thanks, totally agree that it needs some balancing but I think that, combined with new machines and ideas that people have given me (both here and on the livestream) will make for an interesting game.

Looking forward to seeing the improvements in future. A nice clear video would be great.

Developer

For sure I’m looking to make improvements (have my TODO list ready). Will try to get a video put together if time permits.

I quite enjoyed the game, it did get very repetitive, but I think with more upgrades it can be quite interesting. I was sad when I hit a bug at the max being 100. I got about 40-ish extractors and conveyor belts in before breaking the wall cost more than my max haha.

Developer

Yeah needs better balancing. I saw Jern get the max $500 (but the $100 max was missed) so there’s some bug on the max funds tile. Lots of good comments in the stream on ways to make it better so I’m looking at doing that post-jam. Thanks for playing!

very good soundtrack and great graphics, gameplay gets very samey very fast though :(

Developer

Thanks, I agree it gets a little boring fast. Will look at ways to make that better post-jam.

Great game, enjoyed the music and the controls worked well.

As people have already said, struggled with the grinding.

If the diamonds produced money a little faster it would help.

Kind of felt like there was not much strategy other than place a lot of converters and extractors and wait.

I enjoyed it none the less and would definitely be back to play a future version.

Well done.

Developer

Thanks. Yes faster would be good so there are several “powerup” tiles that you can mine to get that, one that increases the money each resource yields and one that speeds up the machines.

Nice work!  I'm not very good at these types of grindy games, so maybe there's some tricks or intuitive things I was missing. Looked and sounded good, controls were smooth.  Being honest though it took me a while to get anywhere and eventually became too expensive to mine so a lot of time was spent waiting on the cash ticking up. I had 30 extractor/conveyor/converters at one point but still felt hard to do more. Would love to see better balancing on the cost to mine. Nicely done :)

Developer

Yes, balancing is always hard in game jam time. I also had nobody to test things to provide any feedback. Not making excuses. Hopefully will have post-jam time to look at balancing and expanding the gameplay. Thanks for the feedback!

Fun game, I got a few powerups that let me get to 500 gold pretty much instantly, but the digging got super expensive. Good job

Developer

Thanks. Takes awhile to get the end game but it can be done.

Had fun playing this, addictive grindy goodness. Great style as well.

Developer(+1)

Thanks. A little grindy but glad you had fun.
