I think there's definitely a place within the VGM space for simply orchestrated tracks written to clear purpose, which you've accomplished here. The opening and closing themes here strike me as delivering very specific callbacks, as the closing track feeds me "sonic drowning", and I can't listen to the opening track without thinking katamari damacy :) I'd love to see you take these foundations and either tweak them to head in a slightly different tonal direction to the original, or build on the source and deliver an expanded version. Cheers!

Description
The soundtrack itself is reminiscent of the NES days with upbeat tunes and that familiar chiptune sound. I used a browser based program called BeepBox. The premise is that you're on a twisted game show called "Defuse That Bomb!" and your job is to defuse bombs before time runs out.
Track 1 is supposed to be catchy and upbeat considering this is a game show. The tick tock within the music correlates with the theme.
Track 2 is the options screen which is derived from the main theme.
Track 3 is the gameplay section where you're supposed to be in concentration so music is very minimal. BPM matches the seconds of a clock. The tick tock is the main component of this track.
Track 4 is when you have less than a minute to go. Music gets more frantic until...boom!
Message from the artist:
Thanks for allowing me to join my first jam EVER! And thank you for listening to my music!
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
The name theme drew me more than the picture theme. My first thought was time bomb, so I came with the concept of a puzzle game where you have to follow very specific instructions to defuse a time bomb. The "tick tock" will be the focal point of the game and OST.
