The voice in the beginning was very disconcerting.

Great game! Had a pleasure to play this on a video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6J9tShhlYo

Developer

thank you!

Cute very little game, very nice visual! But no gameplay =(

This was a really enjoyable experience. My favorite minigame was when you help unblock the flow of water. I loved having a detailed visual representation of my positive impact on the world.

Sure there are some things you could polish here and there as others pointed out, but your vision is clear and the game is fun.

Awesome work!

Thank you for the feedback!

I spent 3-4 hours just for the correct animation of water flowing to the correct flowers, so I am glad you enjoyed it! :)

ooooo the art style & music as you enter the game. It's like getting bunch of flowers with a hint of dark magic thrown at your face, lovely but has a 'I should be cautious' feel. Sound FX design on point too.

The character design felt inspired from Guts (from the mange/anime berserk). Had 'literally me' vibes to it as well.

The 3D sound design of the crying creatures took me a bit by surprise. Haven't seen that in any game YET (22 games rated so far). Rain visuals & sound are high quality as well (I have limited knowledge with 2D graphics so imo they are high quality)

A tricky take on the theme. UI graphics of the puzzles could be improved since they are a main part of the game.

Overall, a 4/5 Experience. 😊

I like the concept, it gave me vibes of using the Dream Nail in Hollow Knight mixed with some fo teh fantasy problem solving of Rakuen or Omori!

The art and music were all really nice and I even appreciated the feeling of following the wailing to find my way to my next goal.  One (very minor) thing I noticed there was that there seemed to be some tearing/odd lines in the seams between tiles sometimes.  It might've been caused by me playing in browser but I've seen that caused by Unity's tile map in the past.  In which case using a Sprite Atlas might help.

Developer

Yeah, I couldn’t find the reason during the development. But a few days ago I found out that Sprite Atlas could fix it..

thanks for the feedback!

Very nice, I think it's too easy, but very cool

I like the game and the atmosphere, great job.

I liked the enviroment atmosphere and controllers are smooth. The looping crying sound a bit iritating but overall good game

Developer

You can adjust SFX volume if needed, but I understand, maybe I should have lowered the crying SFX volumes a bit. Thanks for the feedback! :)

The assets look really great. The way the environment changed after every interaction with the NPCs was very nice too! My only feedback would be to maybe change the jump a bit - it felt a bit tricky sometimes but it might also just be me :) Nice choice of music and sounds too!

Animations and art direction was really nice, they looked great! I liked the minigames as a concept, but they were a little confusing to get working. The platforming controls could be a little tighter, as of right now the character movement is a little clunky. Great work on it, would love to see more, maybe with more minigames and less platforming to sell it's uniqueness!

PROS

- The art is beautiful

- Interesting special effects

CONS

- The gameplay is not entertaining, it is a platform game but the character moves quite badly.

- Some minigames are not understood

I think orienting the game to platforming was a mistake, you have an interesting story and characters, I feel the art fits more in a metroidvania.

- Player movement slow and clunky

- The art actually does look nice, but the art tiliing artifacts are annoying.

- The minigames are supposed to be a substitute for the lack of content in the actual game I suppose.

- The minigames are confusing.

- The crying noises in the background while i fail to make a jump due to bad player movement is just incredibly annoying to listen to while i miss a jump over and over again.

- I actually rate the art highly, the tiliing issues take away from it however.

I liked the environment art with the black foreground, which turned into a colorful environment and the icons in the mini-games.

The game's story included the theme nicely.

In Unity, you can turn off anti-aliasing to make those buggy artifacts go away on the edge of the tiles and sprites ;)

It was quite short, but nice! Good job.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! :)

I am not sure what you mean by the edge of the tiles. But I think this is the font's visual, as this is just a text with an outline component.

This thing.

Ooh right. I couldn’t find what was causing it when I was working on the game. And now I tried to do your suggestion. But I can’t find Anti-aliasing settings. I think it should be in Edit->Project Settings->Quality. But Anti-aliasing just doesn’t appear there

Ohh, so that was the reason for those lines. Thank you very much!

Interesting take on the theme! Character felt a little stiff, but manageable. I really enjoyed the environment art! Nice work!
