Wow! Online multiplayer at a jam! I didn't have a chance to try it but nice job! Game is also filled with other quite impressive features like inventory, item system, mini map, experience system. So yeah, well done on all that! Loved the Pyro look of the main character. Great entry!

I love how fluid the gameplay loop is! It perfectly appeals to the way my mind works that I can go fight enemies, grab loot, and bring it home and drop it off and then get right back out there. Feels very addictive in that sense, well done :)

If you are playing from outside of Europe, I recommend using a VPN and connecting to Europe regions or downloading the local-host version.-Thank you for playing! :)

Amazing game, the theme implementation is definitely there, the graphics are nice but I guess they're quite generic. There's not much else to say here,  I think SpellMender has done it all for me, but otherwise a very good submission!

Really enjoyed this one! Probably my second-favorite of the first 5 in my queue. It's not as flashy as some of the others, but the game has so much charm!

This is my rubric:

[ + - - - - ]      1 - Missing
[ + + - - - ]     2 - Somewhat Present
[ + + + - - ]    3 - Present
[ + + + + - ]   4 - Well Done
[ + + + + + ]  5 - Outstanding

Theme (5/5)
[ + + + + + ]

I love that the entire time you're concerned about the level of oxygen you have! I can't count the number of times I was like "Wow, glad I got back to the station; guess I'll have to hang here for a bit 'till my health is full again." Not just that, but it gives me some time to "take a deep breath," offload my loot, and plan my next excursion. Well done all around!

Gameplay (4/5)
[ + + + + - ]

I would give it 5 stars if death didn't feel so punishing T_T after the second time losing my upgrades I gave up. I would have liked to have an option to trade for each upgrade more than once so I could store it in the chest. That said, I'm bound and determined to play it again until I get to the end of the trading tree! XD

With a little more polish and maybe more worlds I'd buy this baby from Steam for a couple bucks.

Implementation (4/5)
[ + + + + - ]

Works like a dream! There are little things with the *feel* of the game that prevent me from leaving 5 stars. It felt like I had to walk away from the inventory system because I didn't know how to close it. Same with the text bubbles. Trivial perhaps, but the feel of a game is important to me.

Presentation (3/5)
[ + + + - - ]

Love the presentation! Everything feels authentic; the music, the sound effects, etc. Great use of your assets. The reason I didn't rate it higher is because there's nothing here that stands out. Perhaps smoother tile transitions between biomes could help; although I know that's a lot of work. More intricate animations for the monsters, perhaps? Honestly I like it where it's at. For a 10 day game jam I'm happy that you achieved what you did in the presentation department. It did nothing but contribute to the overall aesthetic of the game.

Creativity (5/5)
[ + + + + + ]

What can I say? Who would have thought that you need oxygen to venture forth and kill alien snakes and mushroom monsters with throwing axes and ninja stars? I sure wouldn't have. In fact, I changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars because... as far as creativity goes, what more could you ask for?

P.S. I want to try your multiplayer version, but I haven't been able to connect. Perhaps I can get some friends to try it with me :)

Developer(+2)

You can try connecting to Europe using a VPN, if you are playing outside of Europe.
