I really like the theme and voice acting, and the character design is great! Also, gun propelled movement is a quirk that works really well for this kind of game. Great job!

Artstyle is really nice.

PAWRENCE!!! That was a really solid animation experience with a LOT of sound design. Nice one! Check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission

Congrats for the submission!

Feel like you can add a small bullet to know where I fire.

The way I can push myself with the gun is a nice idea btw.

Did you play the webgl or windows version? The windows version includes a few missing fixes, which include the vfx when shooting.

Oh. I'm on Firefox, MacOS :)

Developer(+1)

hope you could play the windows version it is much clearer there and thank you for playing!

a nice little platformer with a fun quirk! cant go wrong with that!

Ah, I wanted to play but my computer doesn't run OpenGL 3.0, I really think this game must be good, good luck.

Fun and loveable game, great concept. Kind of buggy when you try to shoot downwards to propel yourself. Maybe add an indicator for when you do shoot out of the gun. Love the voice acting, gives more immersive feeling + the music to go along with it. Movement feels a bit clunky, but otherwise really great presentation!

Developer

We didn't manage to integrate the vfx in the animations in time. By curiosity, did you play the webgl or windows version?

The game was really fun and the art is amazing!

Great job! :D

Graphics Great and platforming great although the extra jump feels odd

Graphics and sound are great! Movement in general feels a bit fiddly, especially the wall jump is difficult to execute.

Developer(+1)

If you wish, you can try the windows version. Controls are a bit better (also supports game controller) and the vfx for the shot is there. Although, we have noticed that in some computers the the attach to the wall doesn't work as well...no why.

Very good presentation, frankly gets points for the pun alone, but the mouse control is a bit odd feeling, and the lack of any visual indicator that the gun is anything more than an air cannon is a bit jarring. All in all though, pretty neat.

Developer

you are quite perceptive. it was designed for controllers and wasd+arrow_keys, but sadly time constraints :(

Thats reasonable then, i get it

I suggest you try the windows version. Controls are a bit better (also supports game controller) and the vfx for the shot is there.

Interesting concept, i like the sound design and how the palette are used.

I found movement a tad bit difficult for me, would also have liked to see a bullet trail, as i didnt know how far the rat could be to kill.

As I mentioned in the above comment, I suggest you try the windows version. Controls are a bit better (also supports game controller) and the vfx for the shot is there.

Gameplay is entertaining.
