Really smart to put an overview image so you can see where things are. The puzzles got pretty tough too but it was a lot of fun!

Hi F J A R N S K A G G L,

Thank you for the feedback, we agree, we do wish we had a bit more time to create some simpler puzzles.

Your game is really fun, we love the visuals.

Got through about the first seven levels using the classic gamer's technique of not having the faintest idea what I was doing, nor how the puzzles actually worked, disdaining to read the instructions and then using trial and error to progress via the path of the game's sweet sounding synthesised xylophone tones. (These are lovely by the way! I heard a rumour that someone complained about the sound design, but seriously and without hyperbole, such a judgement is *frickin' lunacy*. I felt genuine joy each time I heard the next  success-marking tone. These, even the 'dice falling into the aleatory abyss' sound, combined with the retro-feel of the graphics evoked a wonderful, cosy memory of something that I haven't thought of for over thirty years:  watching my Dad playing Lode Runner on an Apple IIe back in the days when even talking animals wore Edwardian smoking jackets, Sherlock Holmes lived in Baker street and computers seemed to promise endless creativity and fun rather than an amplification of everything venal, absurd or sanctimonious in the world. I wonder how many levels there are...? At any rate, this is an elegant design by a stylish budding developer. You guys should be proud of yourselves and I look forward to see what you do next. P.S. 'Scuse the shameless self-promotion, but you should check out my paper on 'forcing'. It's a classic.

This game was fun experience!! The increasing pitch of the moves is a great plus, and the gameplay is solid and makes sense, the theme in this one is 5/5,  great job!

Thanks The Great DS :)

We're glad you liked it!

The audio for some parts is really good, not a fan of the super high pitch rise and at some parts i thought i had the right side but it still made me fall. i thought it had to do with the color on the ground. A cool take on this concept i liked it!

Developer(+1)

Hi Dorsey Bros,

Funny you should say that actually: in an earlier build the pitch rise would go up indefinitely, eventually becoming painful lol! We put in a pitch limit to counteract it, but perhaps we should have set that a bit lower?

We definitely could improve the training levels to make the rules for the tiles a little clearer.

Thanks for your thoughts!

i tried to be positive. I do like it. Good job!

Very neat, really enjoyed this one

Showcasing the layout of the faces of the dice makes the game much more enjoyable, too many similar games in the jam do not do that

Great job on your game!

Hi RevanousHydra,

Thanks! We're really happy with it, and we think we might try to make more games now that this one sort-of-worked. :)

Well i tried to launch it twice but browser kept crashing :/
Is there anything i can do to play it ?

Developer(+1)

Hi deuxdeux! Sorry to hear about the crashes... we're very new to game development (this is our first attempt at writing a game!) and are not sure what it could be I'm afraid :(    If we figure something out we'll post again to let you know.

Perhaps another browser could work? Or you could download the game?

PS I just tried your game: similar concept to ours. You've got wonderful visual and sound design, and it plays very nicely!

Hey no worries we all started somewhere haha,
I couldn't try on another browser at the moment, i'm gonna try again later today.
Thanks for your feedback on my game!

Congrats on your first game! fun splash screen and sound.

The sounds in general hurt my head. The unfolded die in the corner is a neat way of showing what you'll get next, but it's hard to decipher what is/will be on the bottom... if that's important? I'm still not sure what I was doing in the second level's puzzle.

Developer

Hi bluebe123, thanks for the feedback! The number on the bottom of the dice doesn't matter so much as the number on top. Our intent with the second puzzle was for it to teach the key mechanics: you must match the number with a blue-dot tile, and avoid the number with a red-dot tile. We might have to have another go at that sometime to make it more effective as a tutorial.

A useful thing about dice is that opposite faces add up to 7, so you can use that to always know what's on the bottom of the die if you need to.  We could probably find a way to teach that in the game too.

Don't really like the sounds when you move, and I don't think level 4 is possible. But I like how it shows what you'll get next.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback Stingby12! It's our first attempt at sound design so we definitely have some things to improve on. First attempt at a game full stop actually lol!

Puzzle 4 is possible, here's a hint: you will need to hit all of the numbered tiles to get it. And you are allowed to move onto the starting tile again during a level.
