Hey btw this ended up being my second favorite game this jam (first favorite is Blue Dreamer's Dicevania (though the game is hard and frustrating and only rewards patient players).

Nice mashup!

The system feels pretty intuitive, and I really like how your strategies need to shift as the numbers for each column get lower and lower. Using combos to clear columns that are too high adds a nice touch of depth to it all.

Combining tetris with the dice is a fabulous idea. The music is really relaxing, I can certainly see myself playing more of this one!

Don't think I've yet seen a falling block puzzler this jam, and I can't believe how well this system works. Hi score is 6270. After I figured out how the mechanics worked and how the numbers looped back around after 0, I really started getting into it. At the end of my first game, my thoughts were "Wow, once you start to falter, there's no recovering from that."

But I decided to play again anyway, to see if I could learn from my mistakes. And what I realized second time is that the mechanics are cleverer than I realized -- you can come back from a giant stack actually, as long as you were putting alike colors together, and in fact, that gives you a ton of points.

So great job really. This kind of thing seems really hard to plan out, because it seems impossible to know in your head if the mechanics will actually work and be interesting before actually implementing it.

Very interesting take on the genre,  I enjoyed it a lot. Polished visuals and fun sound effects made it an all around solid experience.

This is a really good game. I like the concept and the combo mechanic is really satisfying. I also like how you have to think quickly and plan out your moves. The presentation is also quite nice.

Developer

Thanks, we tried to add as much juice and satisfying animation as time would allow.

Hey, we Dicetris developers have to stick together! Lol :)  I think it's cool that we had a really similar idea, even though our games are quite different at the end. Despite the fact that our games have the same name, the mechanics are completely different. A quick math game like this was fun. The graphics are also very good! Good job my friend. Below I attach my final score for the sake of making fun of me for appreciation.

Hey thanks for playing. The game kinda ended up becoming a good practice tool for adding up numbers between 1 and 6 quickly eh?

Yeah, really quickly at higher stage. And still you need to think about the colors at the same time.
