Oh, a beat 'em up!
I had a little trouble with the controls at first, but after getting the hang of it, I had so much fun. The music slaps, the gameplay feels very good, and there's a health management factor that was interesting. I saved health by punching weaker enemies and wasting my ranged attack on the satyr. Biting stunned enemies was so good, they felt "crunchy" if I may say.
A tutorial would've been real nice, but I know how game jams go, sometimes we just don't have enough time. I'm saying this because the bite mechanic is real nice but confusing at first. Nonetheless, overall, this game is super fun. Good job!

It wasn’t intentional per se to be able to move it, just a consequence of me forgetting to turn off the intractable setting, but your health doesn’t actually change if you adjust the bar.
Yeah, we were working very tight to the deadline, so some small QoL stuff like that wasn’t able to make it in, unfortunately.
Loved the animations and feel. Wish there were more beat em up type games like this! I like the pumping soundtrack and the death sound as well.
Only critique would be that the health bar looks like a slider so I was confused until hit.
Animations are the best, I totaly love them. By the way Player should be able to move health bar ?🤔
Nice game! I like the art, animations, music and sound effects (the marimba sound for the skeletons is great) -- all well done, and the game is fun. I couldn't get the bite to do any damage, but the punch and 'blood rain' did the trick to make it to the end of what you completed.
Some hopefully helpful feedback: an auto-respawn after being defeated (rather than asking player to push R) would be a nice addition, and disabling player input after defeat would be good to prevent punching noises when you push Space after you're a pile of ashes.

Not a bad entry at all.
I really like the main character sprite and the animations it has. Music and SFX added were also a good addition.
The fighting is simple, but it works well! The option to shoot out your blood to attack the skeletons is pretty cool. A few things like the blood shot and biting stunned enemies only work toward the right, but that's an understandable time-constraint concession.
And just when I was thinking the challenge wasn't ramping up, the Satyr absolutely tricked me.

Glad you enjoyed the fighting, it was one of my first times trying to do this kind of game, so I definitely learned a lot. I did notice the blood attack and bite bugs, but I'll be patching that later today. And yeah, the Satyr was my favourite enemy to make. I'm glad that it ended up being a good challenge!
