Cute visuals and great controls.
I wished the vines would have more of a pupose, and also some way the game would get more difficult the higher you get.
Well done!

Thank you, and I did intend for the vines to have a limited amount of charges and make them the scoring system, but it didn't work out. I wanted it to get harder as you continued as well, but I had no ideas on how to do that.

I liked the controls. After dropping from the very first plattform I though "the speed is way too high". But 10 seconds later I would not have it any other way. I can't explain, but it just seems right to me.

I would've wished for the vines to be more than a reason to interrupt my happy jumping. This way it only breaks the flow of the game.

Keep making games, please!

Thank you! I worked really hard on making the controls just right. I originally planned on making the vines your way of getting a new score (like whenever you place a vine your score updates) but I figured it would be too confusing. I also tried to include a charge for your vines, like you had to use them with caution, but it didn't work out.

I love the rolling character animation -  made me smile all the time.

In the beginning I didn't get it (was expecting the vines to snap on the top platform - becoming a rope or something...) but once I realized that I can change direction mid-air my little cute guy was climbing like a pro to a 200+ highscore. In that region, the  highscore numbers and the  time-for-a-vine  number start to overlap - other than that, everything was working just fine.

I can second the suggestions TheoClarke was giving in his comment.

When you catch the essence of the game it becomes addictive and has in it that "Just one more attempt to break the high score".

Very cute character and the core mechanic is fun. The gameplay seems a little unfinished maybe, there should be more challenge or a time limit, e.g if the screen scrolled up and you need to keep above the bottom of the screen or you lose.
