You ever have a fear that feels so out of place that people might think you're weird if you tell them? Have you ever gone out late to get milk, only to feel like you're being watched the whole time? If either of these are true (or both, I'm not judging you), then you've come to the right simulator....
Anatidaephobia is a game where you learn the true meaning of fear; it's something we all must come to learn, whether you're ready for it or not. Take on the role of the unnamed protagonist leaving in your one bedroom/living room/kitchen apartment as you take on the daunting task of going to get milk late at night. Seems simple right? Well, you can feel those eyes crawling down your spine as the honks of the night echo in your head
All in all, it's a game that teaches us that even the silliest little fears, are really just stop reading this review and run, it's not safe and they know where you live
Fun, silly little concept. Was a nice break between some other stuff which quite well done sound design. If you're looking for a fun, spooky little laugh- this is a game for you.
Funny little game, but I did miss sounds. The lack of sounds makes it more an alien experience than anything else. Nevertheless, thanks for an entertaining 5 minutes of game play :o]
After I figured out it was 'e' to interact it got better. Not bad for the couple minutes it takes to play. Definitely needs some soundscaping. Even just the occaisional sound of duck feet, or a quack, maybe a wind noise. Something to sell the ambience.
i thought the game was about being scared of running out of milk but I found out it wasn’t I love the low smooth texture I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future 10/10 So good I had to add it to my three scary games series i played your game second at 9:25 you can watch it here
Comedic and to the point! And yes, that is a strange phobia, but I would be more frightened by how the thing can manipulate doors and pop in and out of existence!
Honestly, I have so many expectations about this game... but don't get me wrong though, it is what it is and I appreciate many short indie games like this one.
I just wish for a little expansion and secrets to be implemented into the game. +Plus some extra spooks!
Final verdict: Luckily I don't have any phobias of ducks! ;)
I would also appreciate if you could give an opinion on our latest game. Game devs advice is precious because we know better what it takes to make something work. It's called "Backdoor Shifts".

The duck is creepy and all, but the city he lives in is a nightmare xD

The graphics are really cool, also love how the milk is the only thing is the store. Wonderfully cursed atmosphere. :)
