Artstile is great, concise and consistent. The levels are well made and overall it's a pretty flawless game. I feel like it's lacking some excitement though.

Amazing concept, not so great execution. 5/10
+ Great potential, the concept of not letting your power get out of control really is fascinating, but i had a lot of problems with the game.
+ Good-ish art, not a lot of personality, but still looks good.
- The smoke effect is so blinding i had no reason to stack bullets, i don't see me tolerating it even if it was lessened, it's just very distracting.
- No noticeable positive effect from stacking bullets, thus no need to let them stay.
- No negative effect from stacking too many bullets, thus, there's no danger even in the dangerzone, it takes no consideration to stack them.
- The upgrade menu appears immediatly, wich made me accidentally purchase full heal 2 times because i was still clicking to shoot bullets.
- The stragy boils down to circling your enemies.
I will be honest: this can go further.
The game's art is good but it has too many flaws to overlook, i will point out every flaw i can write (giving genuine feedback) except the 'blade lag' that someone already pointed out and then i will point out the things that are good.
Problems with gameplay and world:
- The common enemies are too easy. There's nothing to dodge, in the beggining, and in the end there's these flaming skulls that bring some difficulty but are always invalidated by the snakes since there are plenty of them and they give plenty of healing (15 seconds). I don't want something too hard, but this is too easy.
- The only constant to not taking damage here is knowing you should be hugging this wall, this is not good design, there's no challenge.
- Most of the gameplay was me asking the frustating question of "where do i go"?
- Not gonna be a douchebag, this is probably because of lack of time in the jam.
- The flaming skulls and other enemies being able to attack you from outside of your screen is not ok. These instances aren't run killers, but it sure feels like they're very unfair in a annoying way.
- Sometimes flaming skulls spawn on you.
- There's no indicative to the fact you can interact with the signs, i know it because i am very curious, but i bet a lot of people will play this and never pay attention to them.
- The boss does 500 seconds of damage in a specific attack, the only solution to surviving a single attack is grinding monsters, wich is not difficult but it isn't fun either. But the solution is also a problem, because of the ammount of damage this thing does, you have no idea if that attack is an insta kill anyways, the player has to test a WILD guess, wich may not be a guess at all, it could be the result of them running around for half an hour trying to find something and be like "ugh, whatever let's just go to the boss and die to finish it off".
Problems with sounds:
- For some reason the default dagger makes its noise every time you swing, i ask you to make it so that it only makes its noise on hit, since it's really annoying hearing it over and over again every time i hold right click.
- The music is very repetitive, i had to mute the game.
Things that are good:
- The art.
- The Phoenix staff is the only weapon that actually makes sense within this game, it gives a time window to shoot and another to think, i tried to fight flaming skulls playing like this and i had some fun. Then i tried to play with the sword and the longbow and they aren't as fun, they don't make sense.
- Playing around cover was fun, but some places just don't have cover.
Done.
3/10
Pros:
+ Cute art stile and good sprites and drawings.
Cons:
- Fabricated difficulty: because the dash is so long, the level design suffers, most if not all my deaths can be traced back to the fact i can't see what's outside the screen, and almost all the time i need to dash without the opportunity to mentally prepare or understand the situation (before dying 6 times), after my brain picked up this fact it was easy but still, the game actively suffers from the long dash in various ways.
The best way i can summarise the situation is like this: 1. oh look, there's a mush there, i hope it helps me climb, 2. *jumps and doesn't notice the wall because is too concentrated on the mush*, 3. what? There's a wall here? And a bone? I tought there would be another platafor- 4. ded
- The game doesn't bring anything new to the table nor does it use any element that isn't in celeste.
- The music is too repetitive for it's own good.
Ok so bugs:
> Sometimes the dog may glitch while sliding on the wall and change sprites like crazy, in one iteration of this bug it will literally climb the wall by itself.
> Bones do not respawn after death.
> The dog sometimes conserves momentun while sliding into a wall (but only sometimes), that may slide you into spikes. (annoying)
> Wall sliding here is possible.
I give this game a 9\10
This game is like the coolest robokid cartoon but it's a plataformer fighter game, it's so cool, fast paced and satisfying... i recommend it 100%.
Also, if you smash enough without being hit you go super until you get hit again, it's the best reward i could ask for.
The only thing i don't like is that you can't cancel attacks into dashes, i would like this freedom in the game.
Ok, so i think the humor is on point... but the game isn't.
It's kind of a shitposty humor, and i had a couple laughs but...
The colors and the chaos in this game really confuse me, to the point i just gave up and held DOWN and FORWARD repeadly mashing Z and X.
I didn't like how it handles bosses, pretty sure it's part of the humor but... mashing X with infinite HP isn't really fun.(also, if u use blue guy you can literally be invincible attacking all the time)
I give it a solid 5/10 for now, i hope it gets better.
Look, this has great potential to be a good fast paced game, that's why i made a list of major concerns on version 0.4.1 to help.
- Strange momentum, no counter movement.
- No visual cue indicating that the main character becomes invinsible using C. (yes, this happens)
- A bug where after being boosted by a wooden spring your up X becomes weak.
- A bug where bodies enter the wall and most of the time climb it.
- A bug where if you use C on moving plataforms you start floating above where you're supposed to be.
- Plataforms are very much bugged in general: https://imgur.com/a/c7x3sbT
- A bug where you can fall off the map in the first stage making you need to reset the game (done in my first life in the entire game). https://imgur.com/a/DKLA17m
- There is no side X in the air, i found it a bit frustrating because sometimes i don't want the mini bump upwards C gives.
- C is the go to for defeating enemies, you don't need to use anything else for damage, else you're going to lose value. The only thing i needed to do is to use it in the right moment.
- If you run colliding with the wall your running animation plays slowly wich is very awkward.
