I find the mechanics of the infection very interesting and I liked how you integrated in game the instructions. Well done!

I'm not sure I understood how the game works. I thought that the infection allowed to recruit the others but obviously it kills them. I think there is an idea but it needs some more work to make it work.

I definitely could have done a much better job communicating how it works to the player. If ants are close enough to enemies, they'll passively infect, but if they get too close they'll start attacking

Very cool game and well executed !

Pretty easy once you find out you can blow up an high hp ant to get 2 - 3 more :D

The theme is very original and has potential by itself.

This is nice concept. I liked the balance of infecting while trying not to kill. Putting this into practice was pretty hard though! I felt the ants were getting killed off too quickly, and maybe the difficulty curve was a bit steep. I tried out a strategy of luring the enemy ants away one by one. It worked for a while. Sometimes an ant would get stuck. The only thing I could think of to use the ant somehow was to draw an enemy towards it and then sacrifice it. The spore idea was cool too. Panning the screen was a bit hard. I think if some of the issues around ant control and screen movement are resolved this would be more fun.  Good game overall!

thanks for the feedback! I definitely agree the difficulty and balance could have used more tweaking, and the pathfinding was especially problematic, which is unfortunate. I'm glad you enjoyed it overall though!

Wow a nice little game!! It was fun and I had to use strategy to not kill the ants. So that We don't harm it but just infect it. It was a hard but fun game. I loved it. I felt bad when the ants just stopped moving and would refuse to do so even when selected alone. That was sad but the theme integration was great and I loved it!!

Nice job! I am a big fan of RTS games and this felt a lot like that. Love the idea of sacrificing a unit to infect more.

oddly captivating. With more levels and ant types a completed version of this game could be a lot of fun.

Thank you for your submission! I like your art and think that your hive-mind angle was a creative direction to make a game! I also like the mechanic of being able to sacrifice dying ants to make a sort of bomb. 

I think if I was to pick one thing I would change it would be to make the screen pan with wasd instead of mouse scrolling. Using the mouse to pan + control ants made for a few unintuitive moments.
