How does you game fit the theme?
The story is taking place in a city, where your job is not actually real, as you are keeping it secret by making it look like something else, to hide the terrific truth.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I have made all the assets by myself, expections are:
A simple car controller script, a cat and person model. Every other asset, texture, sounds and music is made by me.

Shadow StepperI didn't really get the "It is not real" part about it but it is a nice game! Even if all you do is get garbage, place it in a garbage truck, then compress them, I ended up playing the whole game for 30 minutes! The only thing I find annoying is how the truck can get easily stuck and it turns very slowly. But overall, the game is great!

In The DarkI liked the atmosphere a lot, the only things that a felt kinda strange is the "trigger" (i think that is one) for closing the backdoor of the truck, and the driving mechanic (veeeeeery slow at the beginning and then very slippery once more the truck gets more speedy). Other than that i liked very much!

I really had fun playing this trash collector simulation haha.
The game design is excellent. The way you use signs and lights to guide the player, the yellow enveloppe that kept me playing more and more to uncover the secret... The jumpscares were well executed. So many good things in this game.
Only downsides were the truck driving that wasn't smooth (and sometimes when you get in it won't move forward, you have to go backward a tiny bit before being able to go forward) and the handle to compress the bag that was not too obvious, maybe consider making it a different color so that it's easier to spot.

I agree, the truck driving experience is rather inconvenient, that is because instead of writing drive-mechanic code from ground up, I used a premade code that is pretty modified by me, just to be as good as it gets, to cut down time for the jam. Would done a better job with more time, but this is how jams work haha~
I really loved it as a horror game fan! I liked the style of the graphics too. and the story was cool **spoiler alert** in the middle of the game I was thinking "imagine this bag was dead bodies" :D so loved the way you showed it at the ending.
only 2 things I wanna say, I don't know if it's just me but except for the first one, I missed the first 2-3 notes because I didn't know there are notes to find and I didn't pay attention to them. maybe if you put them under a light in the darkness.
and why there wasn't any music? it would be so much scarier if there was some sound and something to make me feel safer in the truck.
but overall I loved it.

is this real?Super well thought out and amazing creepy vibe! Great execution. I loved the ketchup. I coulda done with a few less pickups maybe, or compress all the unique moments into fewer levels.
