we had a group brainstorm over discord, and a whiteboard to draw a lot of concepts that were hard to explain.

Whiteboard was a huge plus. Being able to draw helped a ton.

Yo this slaps.

Though, I could use help with the controls. I didn't find out about the keyboard till the very last part when it requested my location.

wow this was super goddamn cute

By FAR my favorite part was clicking on the objects in the last room and seeing the cute portraits of the devs come up. Cool Game!

Cool game. I would love it the combat was got much more hectic over time.
Small note, you can totally run into the guiding arrows and the next level goalpost while its still invisible.

I screamed at the cat and  fucking quit when the black figured dissapearred from sight. Phenomenal horror game but I cannot play it alone.

I like the button deceptions a lot! It was fun to figure out where the key was, and to have the settings run away.

Biggest drawback is It spends so much time on the dialogue, where I can't do much.

I like the idea of the same world map becoming corrupted over, great job there, though you could incorporate glitch graphics and possibly mechanics into the combat.

The combat itself is pretty dull. I'd say it either needs to be faster paced, deeper, or center around a gimmick mechanic.

Though those are critiques I would throw at a game that has been in development for over a week. For a game jam? phenomenal job. Keep at it!

The music is a blast, the gameplay is fun, the screenshakes are charming, honestly the only thing that I didn't like was that it ended right as I got the kraken.

phenomenal work

I played up till the screen broke and couldn't figure out what to do next. Personally I just let everyone go with the green button, even the mirror.

Cool idea. I'd love to see it fleshed out more

The voice line seems to play at random times, when I immediately thought something would trigger it.

I eventually figured out that the way to win was to not shoot anything, but that didn't stop me from hearing the voice line over and over. It was cool the first time, not the seventh.

I kinda got sucked into the game for a while. I completed two levels before facing the third and stopping.

The thing that kept me from playing further was the controls. My mouse sensitivity was WAY up, even at the lowest setting, I figured out that the setting only changed the Y axis sensitivity. It was hard to control the whole time. I probably would've played more otherwise.

Great job!

In the end there were only two stages to complete, and a completion of the second stage just resets you  to the beginning.

It strikes me as you were learning a new engine or didn't have enough time for the game jam. You can do better next time ya'll. You got this

You know I never figured there would be multiple nights. I didn't survive the first night either. I lost at 5:55am and figured I did well enough.

If there are multiple nights you should hint at them with locked levels in a menu.

This game has a lot of polish. Especially in the sound design. Phenomenal work

My browser glitched and I sent the same comment multiple times. Sorry to spam ya'll

I got soft locked a couple times. I couldn't figure out what the point of the game was. I figured out I should go to the dungeon, but I got locked and wasn't sure what to do down there. It'd be helpful to give some direction.

Yo Nate this game was really engrossing. The mechanics are unique and fun

but I'm running outta grass man, I need some more grass starsssss
