we had a group brainstorm over discord, and a whiteboard to draw a lot of concepts that were hard to explain.
Whiteboard was a huge plus. Being able to draw helped a ton.
I like the idea of the same world map becoming corrupted over, great job there, though you could incorporate glitch graphics and possibly mechanics into the combat.
The combat itself is pretty dull. I'd say it either needs to be faster paced, deeper, or center around a gimmick mechanic.
Though those are critiques I would throw at a game that has been in development for over a week. For a game jam? phenomenal job. Keep at it!
I kinda got sucked into the game for a while. I completed two levels before facing the third and stopping.
The thing that kept me from playing further was the controls. My mouse sensitivity was WAY up, even at the lowest setting, I figured out that the setting only changed the Y axis sensitivity. It was hard to control the whole time. I probably would've played more otherwise.
