Super frustrating and fun movement with potential for speedrun skips. I decided to switch to easy mode because I kept getting frustrated when I would be 1 pixel off of a ledge and it would eat my double jump instead of using my primary jump first. Easy mode is basically the same game just with coyote frames on if you don't use the second jump for recovery. Even then with the second jump for recovery the game is still frustratingly difficult especially with the helplessness you feel when being shot by a gun or bonked by a robot. I made it to the part where there is a gun in the middle of around 6 platforms and even though I was successfully dodging a lot the gun felt like it was inevitably going to hit me and send me down. Having to redo the door opening puzzles was insanely frustrating. The first one I figured out how to skip and even found a fast strat for doing the second one. But that being said the loss of progress in this game is brutal because of how slow the character is and how long it takes to gain the progress back. Being bounced around with such a high velocity is hard to control when your character has so much weight to him. He has a very weak air strafe and it makes changing your speed and slowing or speeding up your momentum with precision to land on a platform very difficult. I don't think this is a problem however, I got used to the movement fairly quickly and it felt good by the end. But when you are being launched it can be near impossible to control sometimes with that much speed and that little control over it. I feel as though this games concept is really good and has a lot of potential. It just needs some control tweaks that benefit the player and some level design that better compliments the mechanics. Also the bullet drop is insane and almost feels unnecessary. The bullet does not even come close to passing through the center of the crosshair so it is insanely misleading. Would love to revisit this game at some point and beat it but too hard for now. Nice work!

The difficulty setting is a nice touch lol. also since the character always faces the cursor, this is the only game in this jam that can be completed by entirely moonwalking, 10/10

I think the idea for the game is so cute! Gotta get that balloon. The game was really hard though and I feel it is better to ease the player in at the start at least with some easier sections. Besides that I really loved the concept and execution of your idea.

Nice clean art style! Some very tight platforming here :) I wouldn't mind a shallower difficulty curve but I like the way you used the bots that smack you, clever stuff!

The game is cool, minimalistic. The difficulties are very diverse: D. Graphics with music hooked me.

Nice presentation.  I liked the vibe.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get super far in the time I had to play so I didn't get to see what unique mechanics you had ahead.  Perhaps it would be best in future jams to start off with more theme-focused content or have a shorter level?

I couldn't get off the screen with my crying robot son and it made me want to cry so I stopped : ( Good game tho!

Lovely artwork and I adore the music and SFX used here. Movement feels pretty good, challenging platformer. I enjoy how different abilities were introduced at steady pace like the double jump.

Very clever way to ease your players into new mechanics. Wonderful submission!

Good luck! c:

Cool game, I like platformers like these where the character is really small in a big world, the timing is challenging but not to hard, the presentation is great. The only thing I'd change is being able to double jump without jumping first, so you could save yourself with quick reflex if you fall off, but that might be part of the challenge, anyway good job!

haha I enjoyed the difficulty options. this game is no joke though. the timing on the jumps is no laughing matter. the minimalist vibe worked really well, very cohesive game. If I make it past the first area, I'll let you know.
