In what way does your game fit the theme?
As the game progresses, the player gets more and more powerups which apply to the player and the enemies, leading to loads of projectiles and other things being on screen.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all the assets and code myself and from scratch, except for the script for playing my game's sounds, which is a modified script from my previous games.

Genuinely enjoyed this a ton! The power-ups provide a great way to ramp up the difficulty slowly. I found myself shifting my strategy as I added new power-ups. Also that "oh crap" moment when I realized that some of my power-ups affect enemy weapons as well :)

Well done! A great entry to this game jam!

Loved it. Really fun, a great idea, loved the choice selected at the end and I loved how the enemies got the bonuses as well making the player not feel overpowered. Well done and keep it up.

Cool game! A bit bland since there's only one enemy type in the game, and I did get stuck after a while, but still, a pretty fun game! The upgrades are actually pretty unique!

A funny game. I like the fact that you have to pay attention to bounces. After, a bit long at the end, with always the same enemy, and only one map, a little audio problem, where the shots sounds decreased on time, and the powerups also applies to the ennemies (like, if I choose the largest shot, theirs will be largest too, or split too if I choose this bonus, I don't know if it's intended like that ^^). But a really fun game nonetheless :)

A pretty fun little arena shooter. There were a lot in this jam (including mine haha), but I can definitely say that the upgrade system in this one is one of the most elegant ways of adding a bit a chaos to the situation. The split shot in particular was probably my favorite: a really powerful buff that comes with a major downside. Good stuff.

Didn't really run into any bugs in this one. Although, if you end up working on a post-jam version, I'd have two suggestions: For one, I'd really like to see some more enemy types. Some upgrades, while they help both you and your enemies, can be pretty easily turned into pure buffs by just circle strafing, which I  think could be really mitigated with a few different foes forcing you to play a bit differently. I also think the health bar is a little too generous: I never went below 75% until I actively tried to, and that was with the screen already covered in bullets.

Putting this aside, though, the game is still fun enough on it's own that I played through it a couple more times than most. A good idea with good execution. Not really much else to ask for from a jam game.

My entry's below if you want to give it a try. Hope to see you in another jam!

Great artwork, great mechanics! About half my game I kept choosing the "easy" powerups that didn't really affect my opponents, got bored, and chose two really intense powerups. That really ratcheted up the difficulty quickly!

Great game!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it eventually!

I must say, I really liked this title. The artwork was pleasing and the mechanics were fun. I do think the enemy AI could be improved, but I know that's a large endeavor. Great job, nonetheless.

Thanks!  I definitely have a few ideas for improving the enemy AI if I ever come back to this game so I'll definitely keep that in mind.
