In what way does your game fit the theme?
how incorporated the theme in my game was by creating a sort of chaotic player behavior and the level design I went with a confusing maze where if you lose too many times you will need to find another route.
I kinda wanted to create beautiful chaos :)

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, everything was made from scratch by me in the jam's time span, except the sound effects and tracks were premade.

I feel like I discovered a speedrunner strategy using the double-jump mechanic, and I had way more fun with it that I was expecting. Simple concept, but great execution. I just wish that there were a few more sound effects, maybe whenever the ball hits something or bounces in the air.

I like the mechanics, game tends to get really hard so quick though. Great work :)

Howdy ~

I had a lot of fun with the mechanics, bouncing between the walls was a really fresh take on classic platformer mechanics.

I think that in some of the parts (especially when the free area is only two squares tall) precise movement was more frustrating than challenging because I was never 100% sure how high I would bounce. Sometimes I bounced very little and othertimes I felt like I would bounce a lot and die as a result.

I thought the game produced at the end was super fun and solid. I think you did a fantastic job :)

This was pretty fun. I feel like some areas could use more checkpoints and the spike hitbox could be a little smaller. But otherwise, it was fun

Nice game,  and I enjoyed the challenge, but I couldn't get past the first green area after the door. I maybe bad at this XD

Developer

thank you for playing :) , did you use the double jump to reach higher places?

Submitted

Yes, I tried that, but I always hit some hazard.

I tried many times to defeat what I think is the final challenge, but died in the end.

Very fun and entertaining although frustrating as well. Looks like a perfect game to be speedrun

Had a good time (but didn't find a finish). Like this concept.

Definitely challenging, I had fun trying to master the timing. Good job!

thank you :)

The constant movement of the ball made for a fun challenge. I also liked the destructible environment that led to hidden parts. My only gripe is that some locations were hard to get back to after respawning at a checkpoint. The destructible bridges would disappear and I couldn't jump across the spikes again, but I just went a different way and it was all good.

Developer

thank you for playing, actually, that was intended :)

Love the whole premise of the game, the soundtrack and graphics are cute, but i did manage to reliably glitch myself outside of the boundaries in a few places. other than this glitch, i enjoyed the game.

Loved how, after you died, you could still see where you had previously been! Really works with the maze-like idea!

Could you play my game too? https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1174314 , would be appreciated.

Developer

thank you, sure thing.
