Hubba Hideout!

I'd love to see real world spots in the game, one day would you consider building some (with the help of the community perhaps) instead of the daunting task of creating a park editor?  I made this mockup using the hubba from map 5 and trusty mspaint ;)

Can't get enough of this fine game, it flows so well and there's a warm nostalgic fuzzyness I experience while playing!

Cheers

This needs to be a DLC. It will take time and a lot of effort. Great way to support a solid game :) at the end it will be our option to buy the package and support the game to make it even better. At least don't do a lot of microtransactions since that's the very reason some games didn't survive. Also, keep on updating the game and not focus that much on DLCs so it won't feel that we are forced to buy certain things.

Looking forward on future updates (FREE that comes with your purchase of the whole game)
- Skater's accessories (e.g. hoodies, long sleeves, shorts, caps, etc.)
- Lots of challenges if the above is implemented in the game since it needs points so you can buy it (in-game cash)
- New maps ( creator's idea )
- Training facility with preset obstacles (which is inside the game right now) free to set-up your own course
- Hopefully a way to play game of S.K.A.T.E.

DLCs ( cause why not? Great games need a solid support on our end (gamers) - so the game will also keep on improving ) - in-app purchases. It's our choice if we are going to buy it or not.
- Real world spots (as package I don't know how he will do that but its reasonable than buying one map) - a preview of every maps included in the DLC package - I mean at least post screenshots of the whole park
- Training facility obstacles (e.g. mega ramps, barricades for that construction site feel, etc.)

Note: no fancy things like boards that can improve your ollies and the impact your character can handle :) we love the realistic feel of the game.

It may look a lot but I hope you consider it! :)

Cheers,

This is a great post to show where to game should be headed. All solid ideas.

Like you said, it will take time and effort... but we're skaters and we are passionate and we know what determination and perseverance is!

The game is in a better shape now with the post-launch versions. Even if it's getting warmer and my city is building a skatepark, I should have more time to continue developing those ideas in my spare time!

Thanks for having the time to read my post :D Just take your time sir! No need to hurry things up since you need more time to get it done properly. We're just excited of what your game can be and what can it offer in the near future.

Great post nino, I'm in no rush but bnut - my wallet is ready for anything extra you have to offer us!

I'm ready! I'm ready!

Wow! Awesome! It looked really good.

I did some test during development and the problems about real spots as always been "textures work". For example, the hubba-hideouts is just some stairs and ledge. What make it special is the layout and the look of it.

Bottom line, textures and  good layout takes me a bunch of time and still can look crappy.  :)

But I'm not shutting it down yet. Just looking at your screenshot push me to look into it again with a different perspective. That and your little side comment: (with the help of the community perhaps)   :)

Thanks!

I thought about adding graffiti but not only would it be a slog, it would probably clutter up the clean look of the game.

I studied a good few photos and videos to determine the scale, I feel as long as this is roughly accurate and the colours are familiar then the spot would be recognisable and fun to skate. Maybe the spots have just been built and we're the first to encounter them!

Or maybe if done properly by someone more capable, detailed textures would look awesome :)

I'm glad you're toying with the idea again, there's help here if you need it!

This is an *awesome* idea. +1

I think what nino said would be super sick

(that being:

- Skater's accessories (e.g. hoodies, long sleeves, shorts, caps, etc.)
- Lots of challenges if the above is implemented in the game since it needs points so you can buy it (in-game cash)
- New maps ( creator's idea )
- Training facility with preset obstacles (which is inside the game right now) free to set-up your own course
- Hopefully a way to play game of S.K.A.T.E.)

It would be cool to have more customization options, just to give your skater more personality.
Not only that but the idea about the training facility, S.K.A.T.E. and cash would be awesome too.

I think though the most important thing would be new maps. Would it be possible to make the maps larger though?

It would be sick to have city spots and whatnot, even real life spots (the scenery wouldn't have to perfect).

(and multiplayer xoxo, love you BNUT xx)

Hmmmm.. The Berrics maybe? What do you think?

Great idea!

The best part is that this park was made by pro skaters, so smooth chained lines and weird gaps are guaranteed!

I love that idea swedgers! I think in the future we will have a bunch of real life parks with awesome potencial like that and such as  nino.alecs example that was The Berrics!

SLS type of park maybe? :D good flow and for those who likes to just skate back and forth. Also, It is kinda cool if we have a park that has a quarter pipe in the beginning and at the end. For good flow's sake and most of SLS park are made that way, maybe? :)
