Cool mix of 2D and 3D, the gameplay was quite frustrating at some points, but I really like that concept!

love the theme and idea, i do feel it somehow does follow the optional theme. Once you lose something to the sea, you understand its value.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
From that perspective, it kinda makes sense. But it is streching the theme's scope a bit xD

P.S. Your game is really funny! Good job! Keep working on it!

Really beautiful game! Throws you right into the gameplay but I also think I might be missing something in terms of the gameplay? or is it just meant to be purely exploration? In any case, really enjoyed the visuals and hope you figure out the WebGL soon.

Ps. Please check out our game too! Let us know how what you think!

Came back to this and tried it out again! This time I did encounter the dungeon and oh boy! It was a really nice experience! Very cool mechanics and visuals! Great job!!

I feel like I'm missing something with the gameplay. I'm just kinda floating around in the (very pretty) first zone, but never make it into the 2D part of the game?

There are some holes in the seabed that you can go to.

We need to figure out a better way to focus the player's attention on those spots. Maybe with sound effects or some fish swiming around them.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for your response! I'll give the game another look :)

I love the combination of 2d and 3d. I think that's pretty cool. Big Barotrauma vibes!

Thanks! Your game visuals look dope too!

We went for a similar visual aesthetics as yours by using oulines in the 3D worlds but it is not working perfectly :(

Have Barotrauma on my game backlog for a while, might give it a try in the upcoming weeks!

oh cool! We came up with simular game ideas.

the 3d models are really nice, and the Shaders are super pretty.

I think that the 3d part is super cool, but the 2d part is a bit less polished, I would have sujested chosing only one of these and sticking with it, instead of Working on two different games at the same time.

but still good job!

Thanks for the comments!

The shaders are still giving us headaches! We want to build it in WebGL but we are having some problems...

We are a students group - @gamedevtecnico - and some members that wanted to invest in 3D and others in 2D. That's why we went for those two environments. Either way, we will try to merge both aesthetics together in the future.
