I challenged myself starting this game just a day before the submission day, and came up with a game which I myself couldn't believe that it would come up so good. Honestly, I have worked VERY HARD and thought about a story which can be made the concept of the game. My game is completely related to the theme 'Failure is progress', is clearly evident from the fact that we *gain* coins on crashing asteroids but we also *lose* energy and we finally die on null energy!

Fun game, though it was missing some challenge

The concept is pretty simple and the visuals were great, the music too, however the music for me stops playing when i finished the tutorial, i also suggest changing the button for the next step in the tutorial since those buttons were used for playing the game, i skipped some tutorial text and had to restart the game to see what they say(i havent got to the main menu yet so thats my bad not knowing that theres a button to restart the game) however a very great game for a 3 day jam

nice, had fun playing! the game would make a good mobile app. the music stopped playing after the first time i died though so i think that would need to be fix. and also the option to turn the music on and off in the menu

Very nice visuals (I see from other comments no on talks about it, so there :)) The gameplay is cool, but something I noticed was that asteroids would pass in front of the UI, so I couldn't see how much energy I had left. SFX are pretty satisfying. With some more polishes this could be released as a mobile game!

Developer

Oh! Thanks! And I'll just fix that asteroids thing..

Great art and interesting mechanics. The tutorial was a bit long but the story and SFX bring a lot more satisfaction and polish to your game. Awesome work!

Developer

Thanks!

Simple and fun to play, nice game!

Developer

Thanks!

Do you like the visuals? (Nobody tells anything about that, I wonder about the liking of visuals(graphics and design of my game) of my game...

Very fun game and nice art, but the tutorial text was long.

Developer

Sorry about that... Couldn't guess which would have been better as this is a new kind of tutorial/instructions I have implemented to my game.

Nice game! This was a really original and decent take on the 'flappy bird' style fly mechanic. I enjoyed the art and the gameplay a lot. I also enjoyed the in-universe explanation for falling into the black hole and getting energy from stars and such.

Developer

Thanks! Hope you enjoyed!

Great Concept and I loved how the asteroids are floating in space. I did have my spaceship disappear and leave the screens a few times but overall nice work!!

I would appreciate some feedback as well :D

Developer

Your "spaceship disappear and leave the screen" means that you went too low to the screen due to which the black hole had sucked you (It was mentioned in the tutorial)

Developer

And thanks!

This game was buggy for me. First the game was cropped in the edge of the screen even with the full screen, the "c" key wasn't working, the music wasn't there, the coins i got didn't register in my wallet post-game. and everything suddenly disappeared after leaving the settings tab and press "play" for the second time. but on the plus side it's easy to understand

The crop thing which you told is not a problem of me, and if you don't believe then you can play the actual version - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/494012597/embed It's a glitch of itch.io which is doing that. And sorry about the bugs. I am trying my best to fix them.

oh sorry didn't notice that. even with the crop it's still playable so dont worry

Thanks!

Oh! The problem with music is fixed now. On a fresh load of the game page, when the tutorial auto - starts after the intro, the music starts playing (after 2 seconds)
