I like the sprites of the projectiles as they made it really easy to know which ones they were and they have a "feeling of power/speed" to them which is a great way to convey information without saying anything. I also like how the color of the enemy's shirt changed to represent their health which made it so that the UI is not cluttered with health bars and I could see better.
One thing I recommend is adding an indicator to the player health to let you know when it is broken as well as adding one to the player's projectiles to tell them apart from the enemy's. A simple "ring" or some other FX should do the trick.
This was a lot of fun to play - quite a challenge! The ability to change the settings yourself was really cool! :) nice work!
Nice game :)
Like the idea, that the settings are broken and that it is possible to customize them.
Had only some trouble to navigate in the arena.
Good work! The UI and gameplay felt good, and it was a unique concept too! The walls blended in a bit too much with the floor, and the healing projectiles were a little confusing at first, but making them hearts helped in understanding them. Loved the custom settings menu too. Nice game!
Good game. It is very nice you made it custom, so it's possible to explore different settings!
I had a bit of a tough time with the dark arena, maybe I need to tweak my monitor. Aside from that it was a ton of fun! I especially enjoyed playing "custom" after I had tried the other types. I rained revenge upon the opponents that had beat me down, very satisfying.
Nice! This is very impressive for being made in four days. The music, sound effects, and colors are all really engaging. For constructive criticism, I think your game would really benefit from more "game feel" elements, like screen shake. Overall, great job!
