I really enjoy the straight line movement. I agree that some progression would be nice and help make the game more re-playable.

Awesome game idea with epic music! Some visual indicators/animations would really spice it up!

It would be nice to have some sort of clear progression in the game. When we finish a room, all that happens is that a new room is created, it doesn't look like we're progressing

A cute little game, but as others said, a visual indication for enemy attacks would be nice!

Developer

haha, yeah, I may continue this project because apparently some people like it,  but that's 100% the first thing I'm adding.

Very nice. Almost plays like a proto-Dark Souls, with the rhythm-based combat brought to the bare minimum. Liked the visual style and music as well.

Developer

Thank you!

It would be nice to add some animations when enemies attack. Music is epic. Visuals are pleasent.

Developer

Yep, that's something a lot of people are suggesting, I will be adding that if I choose to continue this project.

I liked the music and the style

Developer

Thank you!

The idea of NOT pressing a button to do something is really clever! The presentation is great too, super unique, but it was hard to tell what the enemies were doing once you got up close to them.

Developer

Yeah, I found that issue really hard to tackle from a design prospective, would've a visual indicator of some sort have helped or would an audio cue be better? Thank you for the review.

Either would be helpful, maybe both? A little '!' appearing over their head with some sort of sound to signify they're going to attack perhaps?

Developer

That's a really cool idea, wish I thought of that to be honest, but will implement that if I choose to continue this project.

I found it pretty difficult to tell when to attack and block, but the concept of this game, and the environment is great

Developer

Would an indicator of some sort such as a visual indicator right before they were about to attack have been better?
