My first solo Jam, for Mini Jam. It may not be the best, but a good first step for me.

This is a really cute game. Nice work!

Nice work.

Would have gone with something faster-paced. But that's me. :)

Cheers

I think I'm not understanding something.. I press space to start the level and lose a second later.

I didn't polish the code on that as much but its supposed to be a risk thing where if you hold down the space bar you would go twice as fast and also drains your oil faster. For some reason, it likes to keep draining like that even when you let go of it. I'll try to improve on that next time.

Thank you for your comment.

Ah, so pressing the start button carries over into the level or something?

lmao. thats not supposed to happen. Try to just tap the button on the start and see what happens.

Lol, it's good to know I wasn't going crazy. I tried tapping as short as I possible could, but no dice

Next time I might need to change the key between menu and gameplay in these cases. Thanks.

Cool entry! pretty simple, would have been nice to have difficulty progression. I think I could have gone forever, so I stopped once I hit 3000 points. It was kinda zen in a way, once I realized stopping the speed up before touching things was a good strat I could just chill out.

Good work!

I like the game quite a bit,  pretty simple but pretty fun
